What is the name of Darina Gromovoy's mother? Darina main passenger: trip story, family, photo

Darina is the main passenger: the story of the trip, about her family, photos. In a terrible plane crash that occurred over Sinai Peninsula, 224 people died, among whom were 29 children. But I would like to pay more attention to one of the stories: the Gromov family (mother, father and daughter), flying from vacation.

Main passenger

Ten-month-old Darina Gromova, the daughter of Alexei Gromov, was interested in looking at airplanes in such close proximity for the first time in her life, as a result of which her mother captured the child’s genuine interest in the photo and posted it on Instagram with the description: “ Main passenger #family #darinagromova @Pulkovo Airport Saint-Petersburg New Terminal 1" For the Gromov family, this was their first trip together.

As LifeNews reports, Darina’s grandmother admitted that she was worried that her granddaughter would not survive the flight well, but the parents did not dare to leave their 10-month-old daughter for the duration of the trip. In addition, the woman noted that her husband and Darina’s grandfather was a military pilot who retired with the rank of colonel. Her son Alexey also wanted to become a pilot, but she did not allow him. As a result, he went to work for an IT company.

When adults die because of someone else, it is a terrible tragedy. If children die for the same reason, then this is a doubly tragedy!

The tragic story of one family

Baby girl aged ten months from Leningrad region I flew to Egypt at sea with my parents. In her father’s arms she swayed on the Mediterranean waves and soaked up the sun.

While returning home, the girl died in a plane crash along with her father and mother and other passengers on the plane. Among the almost three dozen children on that flight, there was no less Darina. Her parents Alexey and Tatyana Gromov worked in the same thriving company. It was a good young family.

At Pulkovo airport, the mother took a photograph of her daughter looking at the planes through the terminal window. And posted the photo on in social networks entitled: "Chief Passenger". Now this photo of Darina Gromova, still alive, has spread all over the world.

On the Internet, Darina is called the main passenger of the tragic flight. The baby’s grandmother, feeling the trouble, asked the children to leave her granddaughter with her. But they didn’t listen.

How did it happen?

On October 31, 2015, an Airbus A321-231 of a Siberian airline crashed over the Sinai Peninsula. It was chartered travel agency"Briscoe" for international charter flight 7K-9268 "St. Petersburg - Sharm el-Sheikh - St. Petersburg." On it, tourists returning home from Egypt were vacationing on the Mediterranean coast.

Within twenty minutes, the autopilot raised the plane to an altitude of ten kilometers. From there he immediately began to fall vertically at a breakneck speed of 1.8 km/minute. That is, it took 5.5 minutes to fall to the ground. During this time, the pilots requested a landing. But before runway it was more than 50 kilometers.

There were reports online that there was an explosion in the tail of the plane. They even named the person who brought the explosives on board and placed them in the “tail” of the liner. This was later confirmed by the layout of the remains of the liner. The disaster claimed the lives of 224 people (including the death of the entire crew). Initially there were several versions, in particular, a technical problem or a human factor. The main version was a terrorist attack.

The ISIS group, an organization banned in Russia, attributed it to its bloody account. As always in such cases, the perpetrators were not punished. The Kremlin assured that they would search for those involved in the death of the plane passengers indefinitely and punish the perpetrators.

This is the biggest disaster of the Russian passenger aircraft. There was no such tragedy either in the history of Egypt or in this series of Airbus. Flights to this African country from the Russian Federation were stopped for a long time, which hit Egypt’s tourism hard. Flights recently resumed after the Russian side was convinced of the safety of local air terminals. This kind of work is still being done.

Terrorist attack or equipment malfunction?

The Egyptians stubbornly refuse to recognize the cause of the disaster as a terrorist attack. The transport ministry of this country assured that final conclusions they will do it quickly. But the conclusions still contain no mention of a terrorist attack. So trust them!

The north wind cruelly ruffles the mourning ribbons. A young woman, weakened by the elements, tries to light a lamp. He sits on the ground, blowing on his frozen hands.

Those who came to the Kuzminskoye cemetery to say goodbye to the passenger of the blown up flight, Olga Pavlova, could no longer cry; their tears dried up in forty days.

A lump came to my throat only at the sight of Olga’s mother. The elderly woman looked very small from behind. Shrugging her shoulders, the mother did not even cry, she screamed with grief. Only the wind carried her cry over the graves.

“It’s so scary to bury your children,” the friends whispered and hugged the woman by the shoulders.

Olga Pavlova was 42 years old; a resident of the Leningrad region was vacationing with a friend in Sharm el-Sheikh. They found her only thanks to the DNA identification procedure.

And now there are orphaned relatives left,” the old woman who sells flowers wipes away a tear from the cold. She seemed to have seen enough of grief, but how could she remain indifferent? - Yesterday another young family was buried here.

SYMBOL OF TRAGEDY

The graves of the Gromovs are still quite fresh, strewn with flowers, wreaths and soft toys. They are right next door to Olga Pavlova.

The administration of St. Petersburg specially ordered this wasteland not far from the entrance, say cemetery workers. “We can’t bury anyone else here except the victims of the plane crash.”

Alexey, Tatyana and little Darina between them. The “Most Important” passenger of flight 9268. The photograph of Darina, taken by her mother before departure, became an unofficial symbol of the tragedy. On social networks, people make collages with a photo of the little girl looking out the terminal window at the planes, and dedicate poems to her.

And on December 26, Darina would have turned one year old. But on the funeral cross the counter stopped at October 31 - the most terrible date in modern history St. Petersburg.

Farewell to the Gromov family took place in the Resurrection Church two days before forty days from the moment of the tragedy. Relatives and friends closed themselves off from communicating with journalists, and only those close to them knew: the family was identified by DNA and was about to be buried. Two hundred people came to the cemetery.

There were a lot of young people,” recalls the old lady with flowers. – They are very young themselves.

LOVE AFFAIR AT WORK

Alyosha was only 27. And Tanya, what a cruel joke of fate, would have turned 27 on December 9. The couple met at work. A native of Togliatti, Tatyana Gromova worked for a large company in St. Petersburg, organizing forums and conferences. Alexey worked in the IT department. We got married a little over a year ago - the year before last. Soon after the wedding, Tanya and Alexey had a daughter, the couple was looking forward to her.

Mom called Darina a princess. The girl was dressed up like a doll. From the moment the child was born, Tatyana did not part with her for a minute. So the young parents took the baby with them on vacation.

The Gromovs occupied row 9, seats D, E, F. Rescuers managed to find the 10-month-old baby only a few days after the plane crash. Darina’s grandmother did not identify her granddaughter’s body and agreed to a DNA examination.

FIRST PERSON

Elena GROMOVA, Darina’s grandmother:

To my son

“When you were little, one day you asked me for some reason: “Mommy, is it difficult to raise children?” I don’t know then where you got this question from. I answered you: “No, son, you just have to love them.” .

And you knew that I loved you immensely! And now this love has been taken away from me! But I still continue to love you very much! And no one will dare to tear this feeling out of my maternal heart!”

To my granddaughter

"My angel! We have been waiting for your appearance on this Earth for so long. We were incredibly happy that we had you. You grew up, we rejoiced at all your achievements and successes, you delighted us with your mischievous laugh and wonderful grimaces. Don’t fly away from us, because angels are always nearby, we need you very, very much. We love you immensely, always be with us.”
