Zoklet Beach, or Doklet, is one of the most popular holiday destinations near Nha Trang. Let's figure out whether the beach can be called paradise, what advantages and disadvantages there are.

Beach near the Doc Let hotel Beach Resort Spa

general information

Many tourists ask about Paradise Beach Nha Trang. We are talking about the same holiday destination - Paradise beach is located in the north of Zoklet beach, next to it there is a comfortable hotel with the same name.

Zoklet in the southern part

The recreation area is located in picturesque bay, the length of the coastal strip, covered with soft sand, is 6 km, however, you can’t swim here everywhere. The beach on the right and left is dotted with boats of local fishermen. There is also a no man's land where no one cleans up. The central part of the coast belongs to hotels, they clean it regularly, but stormy winds inevitably bring garbage to the beach.

Tourists note the fine white sand, like flour. In calm weather, relaxing on Zoklet is a pleasure, but as soon as the wind blows, the sand dust becomes very annoying, and it will take a very long time to shake it out of your things.

The descent into the water is gentle and long; the real depth begins only after 30-50 meters. Considering the shallow depth, the water warms up well. For this reason, families with children choose Zoklet Beach (Nha Trang).

It is important! It is warm and cleaner here than on the city beach of Nha Trang.

As for the waves, warm time They almost never happen throughout the year, but in the winter season the sea is rough.

View from the sea

Throughout coastline There is vegetation, so finding natural shade on Zoklet is not difficult. In the afternoon, most of the beach is in the shade. Choose for yourself what time of day is most comfortable for relaxing on the beach - in the morning, when you can sunbathe, or in the afternoon, when you can hide in the shade.

It is important! If you are planning a trip to the beach in winter, keep in mind that it is quite cool in the shade at this time of year. The weather and climate of Zoklet beach and Nha Trang are largely identical, because these are neighboring areas of Vietnam. If it is cool and rainy in the city, there is almost a 97% chance that the same weather will happen on the coast.

Infrastructure

Not far from Zoklet beach there is a village, which, however, cannot be called touristic. There are several shops, a pharmacy, a cafe and a small market where you can buy clothes. In the village there are signs in Russian, for example, “rent a bike” and “massage”.

Ten's Cafe

Near the coastal hotels there are cafes where they cook delicious seafood, sell fresh fruit, and you can buy a set lunch. The names of the bars are “Birch” and “U Tena”. If you want to feel the flavor of Vietnam, go have a bite to eat at a local tavern; many people come here to eat on weekends local residents.

Cost of services:

  • chair rental – 25 thousand VND;
  • hammock rental – 30 thousand VND;
  • 2 sun loungers and an umbrella - 70 thousand VND
  • renting a gazebo for relaxation costs VND 250,000;
  • shower with fresh water— 10 thousand VND;
  • Luggage storage in front of the beach entrance - 20 thousand + deposit 50 thousand.

It is important! Also on the beach are aquatic species sports, necessary equipment you can rent it here. Not far from the coastline there are showers, comfortable changing rooms and clean toilets. However, only tourists who have paid for entry will be able to use them.

What you have to pay for

Zoklet Beach near the hotel

Given the huge length of the coastline (6 km), the majority of the beach is free. However, it should be taken into account that you receive the appropriate service - there is a lot of dirt on the right side of Zoklet, and in the center, where the local bars are located, there is almost no coastal strip - the sea begins almost right next to the bars.

You will have to pay if you want to visit the hotel's section of the beach. The prices are as follows:

  • entrance for adults – 70 thousand VND, the price includes a bottle of water 0.5 l;
  • entrance for children – 35 thousand VND.

Note! For this price you can park your vehicle, use the changing room, shower and toilet. The most enterprising tourists do this - they park further, swim and relax on the free beach, and go to the paid beach to shower or use the toilet. In this case, be careful, as tickets may be checked at the entrance.

All prices on the page are for May 2019.

The vast majority of reviews about Zoklet beach in Vietnam are positive, however, there are negative points that are worth mentioning:

  • huge crowds of tourists of various nationalities;
  • strong wind and constantly flying sand (this only applies to winter holidays).

However, turquoise water White sandbeautiful place For have a relaxing holiday without unnecessary noise. For wedding photos Zoklet (Nha Trang) is ideal, so some tourists hold wedding ceremonies on the shore.

You need to go to the beach overnight, but this can only be done good weather when there is no rain. In December and January, holiday conditions do not allow you to stay here overnight.

To enjoy your beach holiday to the fullest, follow a simple plan. Arrive at lunchtime, check into one of the hotels, after 15-00 tourists leave, the shore is empty. In the evening, order dinner at a cafe and drink a glass of wine, and in the morning, swim in the sea, have breakfast and go to Nha Trang before the tourists arrive.

When coming to the beach for one day, be prepared for the fact that there will be too many vacationers around. If possible, it is better to stay overnight on Zoklet.

The driver is waiting for passengers, so swim and sunbathe to your heart's content, get into the same taxi and set off on the way back. Agree with the driver to pay a specific amount, do not agree to pay by the meter. If you rent a taxi for a trip only around the city, it is more profitable to pay by the meter. Bus Nha Trang - Zoklet

Bus number 3 is required (transport must have a lane yellow color, this is important because bus No. 3 with a white stripe runs in the city). There is a sign on transport - Doc Let.

The first flight departs at 5-00, and last flight at 17-35. The schedule changes periodically, and buses may be delayed or arrive a few minutes early. The frequency between flights is approximately 40 minutes. Experienced tourists They recommend not to take risks and not to leave the beach by the last bus. The fact is that flights are often canceled in the evening. Best time to return to Nha Trang – no later than 15-00. The journey takes about one and a half hours.

The ticket will cost 28,000 dong (30,000 by minibus), payment inside the bus to the conductor. Be prepared for the fact that air conditioning works very well in transport, so on the road you will want to wear a jacket and even socks.

How to get to Zoklet Nha Trang on your own by bike

The best way to get to your vacation spot and also see the sights. Tourists are wary of renting a motorcycle because it is known all over the world that the Vietnamese are terrible drivers and disregard traffic rules. However, if you have already driven a bike in Vietnam, rent a vehicle and enjoy the ride.

Food vendors in Doklet

Know that the path is not the easiest, the main thing is to take your time and explore the surroundings. On a bike, the leisurely journey will take an hour and a half; it will take you about 30 minutes to leave Nha Trang (the time depends on where your accommodation is located). Continue towards Hue. You need to drive past the northern port, the turn to Bajo, the temple. After this, turn onto the DT1A and follow the rice fields. The track ends at an intersection; to get to the shore, turn left. After a few kilometers there will be a right turn - the finish line to Zoklet beach. Here you will see the Doc Let Beach sign.

  1. You should not try to demonstrate your driving skills on the highways of Vietnam. Here the kings of the road are truck drivers and the main one is the one who has the biggest car.
  2. If you want to get to Paradise Beach, continue ahead and turn right according to the signs.
  3. Go to Zoklet Beach, but choose good weather so that the sand does not spoil your holiday. It is best to rent a bungalow and admire the stars at night while listening to the sound of the sea.
  4. Main part Chinese tourists arrives at the beach at 12 noon and leaves at about 4 p.m. During this period, Doklet becomes much noisier.
  5. If you decide to go on a tour, take the tour without lunch. Not all companies actually offer Tasty food, and the prices in the cafe on the beach itself are quite reasonable.

How to get to the beach, prices in cafes and other helpful information is present in the video. Take a look if you are going to Zoklet.

Bai Dai Beach Nha Trang or many kilometers of desert and almost wild beach twenty kilometers south of the city. I had been planning to go to this beach for a long time, but it absolutely did not allow me to get out of the house over long distances. Fortunately, January in Nha Trang is still pleasing with more or less good weather, and before leaving we still managed to see one of the most beautiful beaches in Nha Trang :)

Very beautiful beach Bai Dai in Nha Trang

Bai Dai Beach Nha Trang. Description

Bai Dai Beach stretches for almost 17 km in the bay between the cities of Nha Trang and Cam Ranh. By the way, the very name of the beach Bãi Dài is translated from Vietnamese as “long beach”.

The long Bai Dai Beach (Bai Zai) stretches for almost 17 km!

Previously located nearby military base and therefore this coastal part was inaccessible to tourists. Even now this part of the coast is not yet very popular among tourists, but luxury hotels are being built on the shore at a tremendous pace, some of which will open their doors this year, so that soon Bai Dai beach will be filled with vacationers :)

Hotel construction is in full swing along the coast
Very soon the luxurious villas will open their doors to tourists

Now most of Bai Zai Beach is completely wild and, therefore, unkempt; there is a lot of natural garbage on the beach, and in some parts the beach resembles a landfill.

There is garbage, no people!

I really like landscapes like this
Landscapes of southern Vietnam: Bai Zai

But still, on the long seventeen-kilometer beach you can find almost paradise! We found two sections of the beach where you can calmly spend the whole day:

  • Beach next to the Dessole Sea Lion Beach Resort. Coordinates: 12.035087, 109.214825
  • The site is at the very beginning of the beach under the mountain. Coordinates: 12.110496, 109.193802

Beach, sand, sea, waves, shadow

Beach strip Bai Dai beach is sooo long, those who like walking along the sea will be pleased :) The beach itself is quite narrow.

The sand on Bai Dai Nha Trang is white and very fine, green grass grows near the shore. The sea is bright turquoise, and the combination of white sand, bright green grass and azure sea at Ban Zai reminded me of a chic one!

The landscape is almost like near our Parayso Beach Hotel in Tulum in Mexico
Almost Mexican landscapes :)
The sand on the beach is fine, white and fluffy
There are pebbles and shells near the water's edge

There are always waves in the sea at Bai Dai Beach in winter, but they don’t seem as huge as on. The sea is shallow, the entrance to the water is gentle. But swim in some places on Ban Dai beach dangerous! The shallow sea and small waves create the illusion of safety, but in fact, there are reverse currents (rip currents) in the sea here, so you need to be very careful when swimming on this beach, swim only in strictly designated areas and do not swim too far!

These are the waves on this beach in winter
The waves on Bai Zai Beach are very dangerous! Rip currents meet here
In some areas of the beach there are posters warning that swimming is dangerous.

There is almost no natural shade on Bai Zai Beach. If you are going to this beach for the whole day, you should either take an umbrella with you, or rent a sun lounger under an umbrella, or look for a few places with shade.

There is very little shade on the beach
There is not much vegetation near the shore that provides shade

Infrastructure

Most of Bai Dai beach is completely wild and there is no infrastructure nearby. Small plots belong to a few hotels: of course, the hotels have all the necessary infrastructure, including beach beds and umbrellas, but they are not rented out to non-hotel guests even for a fee.

At the very beginning of the beach, under the mountain, there is a row of cafes, next to which you can leave a bike for 5,000 dong, where you can also rent a beach chair under a canopy. At the cafe you can dine on fresh seafood or drink a cup of Vietnamese coffee. Locals love to come to these cafes on Bai Dai Beach on weekends! The noisy Vietnamese are a real pleasure :) But on weekdays it’s empty.

If you drive a little further south (or walk along the seashore from a row of cafes along the beach a little to the right), you will find a very nice place with several sun loungers under umbrellas. Here, normal sunbeds (not chairs!) can be rented for only 50,000 VND per person.

At the very beginning of the beach under the mountain there are several cafes where you can eat inexpensive seafood and rent a beach chair under a canopy. There are crowds of Vietnamese here on weekends!

Bai Dai Beach hotels

On this moment There are only four hotels open on Bai Dai, I already talked about them in.

You must understand that when choosing a hotel on Bai Dai beach, you find yourself in a reservation, almost like somewhere in the desert in Egypt :) There are no cafes or shops nearby. I’m not even sure if you can rent a bike at the hotel... Of course, a taxi to Nha Trang is at your service.

Bai Zai Beach: how to get there

Bai Zay Beach is located on the way from Nha Trang to Cam Ranh Airport, from the center of Nha Trang to the beginning of the beach about 22 km. Organized excursions, such as, for example, to Doc Let beach, to Bai Zai beach, fortunately, are not available yet :)

You can get to Bai Zai Beach by:

1. Taxi. A taxi from to Bai Dai Beach will cost about 200,000 VND one way (not by meter, by meter it will be more expensive! Negotiate the price in advance!) or approx. 400,000 – 500,000 dong waiting for you for several hours.

2. By bus. Because The beach is located on the way to the airport, so you can get to it by bus No. 18. I posted the schedule of this bus in. Bus number 18 stops at stops with orange signs. Just tell the conductor that you need to go to Bai Dai beach, he will tell you where to get off. On the way back, you just need to go to the stop and look out for the bus. Only you will have to stand in the dust and in the very heat, there is no shade. The fare is 30,000 VND per person.

Bus stop No. 18 on the road along Bai Zai Beach

3. On a bike. The best way to get to Bai Zai Beach is by bike. The road is not difficult, as soon as you leave Nha Trang and drive through, the traffic will become much calmer than in the city. The road to the beach passes by picturesque mountains, beautiful landscapes open up and it seems that you are no longer in Nha Trang :) Even the air becomes different - clean, mountain-sea :)

Bai Dai Beach review and photos

Bai Dai Beach is a great place for relaxation and photo sessions: beautiful nature, few people (on weekdays), fine sand, warm sea. The bright landscapes are pleasing to the eye, especially if you know how to ignore the garbage around: yes, there is garbage, where would we be without it, after all, the beach is almost wild.

Nha Trang is one of the most popular resorts Vietnam, where tourists come from all over the world. And it’s not surprising, because the beaches of Nha Trang offer holidays for every taste: youth with club entertainment until the morning or real relaxation in bounty style. In this article you will learn about all the beaches in the city and its surroundings.

Tran Phu City Beach

Of course, the most famous beach in this area. This beauty stretches for seven kilometers, and it is continuous light sand. Its color is due to the fact that it has a special structure, these are the smallest particles of sea shells. The sand is not as fine as in Phuket, but it is very pleasant, walking on it barefoot is a pleasure!

A stunning embankment stretches along the coastline, from which you can go down to the beach. Although Chang Phu is located in the city center, there is a lot of greenery around. There are cute gazebos and benches. The surrounding area is clean, the park area and the beach are carefully cleaned, although there are leaves and tree branches on the sand. The beach is municipal, which means that from early morning local residents gather there to take morning exercise, do exercises or swim.

True, it’s not worth swimming here in winter. From November to March there is seasonal bad weather. The wind rises and drives the waves. Some daredevils, of course, decide to swim, but you definitely shouldn’t go to Chang Fu with children during these months. The rest of the time – beauty! The sand heats up in the sun; at lunchtime you will have to skip and skip to the sea barefoot. The bottom on Chang Fu is flat, gently sloping, the entry and depth are comfortable.

You can start trying right on the beach Vietnamese cuisine. There are a lot of different cafes and restaurants here, where they cook great food, especially in the part of the beach where it is located. But those who have already missed European dishes can also find a suitable establishment. Russian tourists, for example, adore the Gorky Park restaurant.

Tran Phu beach in Nha Trang is replete with signs in Russian, even in the menu you can find Cyrillic.

Calm Paragon Beach

Unlike the city center, where huge waves often rise, this place is calmer. This is a hotel beach.

How to get to Paragon Beach in Nha Trang?

Anyone can take bus No. 4 (fare 7 thousand dong), which runs on the third line. You need to get off at the last stop, Vinpearl, and walk another fifteen minutes on your own two feet. First, go a little in the opposite direction to the intersection and turn left there. Another option is to call a taxi from the terminal (costs approximately 80,000 VND).

In general, the journey by public transport takes about forty minutes. To get back, you need to come to the final stop. Often the bus is already accepting passengers or you will have to wait a maximum of a quarter of an hour.

Paragon Features

Paragon can hardly be called a beach in the literal sense of the word. If you look at the beaches of Nha Trang in the photo, it is immediately easy to recognize. It looks more like an artificial pool in a natural environment. The coastal part of the sea is fenced off by a rock. That is, in any weather there are no waves or debris that washes up during a storm. The sand is light, so the water looks turquoise. The sandbank is wide, which means small children will be at ease here.

Some lack vitality sea waves. But the partitioned space is quite spacious, and there is no impression of enclosure. And during a storm, which can last for several days, it is better to swim in such closed beach than admiring the ramparts of Chang Fu.

Before heading back, you can rinse your feet near the villa, which is located on the edge. Behind the fence near the pool there is a hose with a tap. Locals are not shy about washing their feet there, and tourists also use it.

The downside is the modest size of the beach, few sunbeds and umbrellas. 40 thousand dong to pay for entry (children are free) plus another twenty for access to the sea. There is nowhere to eat, because there is a cafe only at the entrance. It is better to take snacks and water with you if you are going to visit Paragon Beach (Nha Trang).

Picturesque Pearl Beach

This beach is quite far from Nha Trang. The most convenient way is to book an excursion (at a Russian travel agency it will cost about 33 USD including a snack). Now some travel agencies from Nha Trang bring groups of tourists here. It’s difficult to get there on your own; buses don’t run.

How is Pearl Beach different from others?

Pearl Beach in Nha Trang is little known, which means there are almost no people on it. It is located south of Nha Trang. Entrance to the hotel (which includes the beach) is paid - 50,000 VND. There is a restaurant on the water and a magnificent stone lighthouse. There are huge boulders, palm trees, wooden houses on stilts all around - the views here are unforgettable. It’s worth going at least once to take beautiful pictures. If you are planning to take photos of white sand beaches in Nha Trang, then come here.

The beach is small but beautiful. During the season, the water is clean, warm, and there are no waves even during the day, unlike Nha Trang. Natural umbrellas, made from palm leaves. If you book an excursion, you will be given drinks and fruit on the beach. But in winter, the water becomes dirty: in the off-season, a lot of bags and other garbage wash up on the shore.

The downside is that the infrastructure is not developed at all (except for a lone restaurant and hotel) and it is far from Nha Trang. Overall, a nice place where you will feel calm and at one with nature.

Fun Beach Louisiana

Where is it located and how to get there?

Strictly speaking, there is no separate beach called Louisiana; it is part of the city beach, which belongs to the stunning cafe of the same name. Therefore, there is no point in writing separately about the sea - everything is the same as on Chang Fu. “Louisiana” is an establishment with its own brewery, so true lovers of the foamy drink flock here. Indeed, it has its own pool and beach. The cafe is located near the middle of the city beach.

You can get there on foot, if you walk along the city beach towards the cable car (Vinpearl), by taxi, telling the driver the name of the restaurant, or by buses No. 2, 4 or 5. The stop is called “ Central Beach", then walk a hundred meters to the lotus.

What's on Louisiana Beach?

The restaurant offers visitors comfortable sun loungers with mattresses and sun loungers right next to the shore. The area is clean and well-groomed. Despite the sale of alcohol, the area is calm and visitors are not rowdy. Security guards monitor the belongings of vacationers and drive away annoying local sellers.

Waiters at Louisiana Beach (Nha Trang) serve people along the entire perimeter of the beach, quickly bringing beer and snacks. If there are waves at sea, you can use the pool. Facilities also include fresh showers and toilets. The price for renting a sun lounger is less than two dollars, a glass of 0.6 liters of branded beer is more than $3. You can also come up with promotions: 3 times a week from noon to one and from four to five in the evening, when you buy two 0.3 liter glasses, the third one is poured for free. By the way, the beer is excellent! They give you free salted nuts with it, you just have to ask the waiter.

The Internet connection is good at the tables by the pool, but there are interruptions on the trestle beds. Among the shortcomings: you are asked to leave the sun loungers that are located by the pool after four in the evening, because the Louisiana staff is preparing the tables for dinner. The restaurant (like its beach) is open from seven in the morning until one in the morning. The downside is that it is quite expensive compared to other places.

Generally - nice place. No one runs up and checks to see if you took a drink so that you can get a sunbed and splash around in the pool. In the evening there is live music on Louisiana Beach.

Deserted Bai Dai

Translated from Vietnamese, Bai Dai (pronounced in Russian as Bai Zai) means “long beach.” It really is like that - it stretches for as much as 15 km. There used to be a military base here, 20 km south of Nha Trang.

Bai Zay Beach, Nha Trang – how to get there?

You can get there by renting a car or taking a taxi. You can negotiate with the driver: for 500 thousand dong you will pay for the journey from the city and back with a wait. This is a common thing in South-East Asia: the client is resting - the driver is waiting. Payment upon delivery in Nha Trang.

The beach, of course, is not as well-equipped as Chan Fu. There is natural debris everywhere: twigs, leaves, algae... But it’s not for nothing that Bai Zai is among the best beaches Nha Trang. An atmosphere of peace and spirituality permeates everyone. The sea is clean and calm (waves only in winter). There are few people, but the landscapes are mesmerizing.

If you got here with a rented car or motorcycle, you can leave them in the “parking lot”. This is a small area where you can leave your iron horse. Locals take a bribe of only VND 5 thousand - for this money they will act as security guards. You don’t have to worry about transport, because for residents this is one of the main types of income (except for selling seafood).

Entertainment and prices for Bai Dai

Bai Dai Beach in Nha Trang is great for surfing: in winter there is a decent wave. You can rent a surf: you will have to pay 180 thousand dong for an hour. They offer different boards to choose from; in poor English, the owner will explain which one is best suited for what purpose. They take money only after returning the board - they trust you.

There is infrastructure only at the very beginning of Bai Zai, on the city side. There are several cafes there. The menus of local restaurants offer translations of dish names into Russian. True, it is difficult to understand what a snapper or triggerfish is. And the owners often don’t speak a word of Russian. Local merchants are not yet spoiled by tourists; they are happy even with a tip of 20,000 dong. Prices are low and customer service is friendly.

Behind the cafes there are long kilometers of wild beach with snow-white soft sand and crystal sea water. Locals remove marine debris at low tide. The Vietnamese don’t think much about recycling; they simply bury their finds in the sand. The entrance to the sea does not change depending on the tide: it remains flat, but the shallow water at low tide is small.

Fishermen are frequent guests here. They float on boats shaped like basins - it looks very authentic!

This is also a remote beach where no one goes public transport. If you rent a bike, you can get from the center of Nha Trang to the beach in an hour. You have to be prepared that the traffic is crazy: on the road, trucks and trucks drive no worse than racers, and often motorcyclists rush into oncoming traffic. You will have to travel 65 km north of the city. You need to drive along the AN1 highway under your own power. When you see the Huyndai Shipyards sign, turn right.

Driving along the coast, you will see fishermen and smell the aromas of fresh fish. You will be convinced that your trip was not in vain. The place is magical, the kind you see in paintings. You can stay in a real bungalow. The owner is a man who is probably almost a hundred years old. For $65 a day you can live comfortably with three meals a day. Or you can pay for a one-time visit ($5).

You can drive between two hotels and in this no man's land everything will be free. If you are using a rented vehicle rather than a taxi, it is convenient to purchase gasoline from the locals. You will see green bottles at the front door of houses. Drinks can also be purchased. In general, “Jungle Beach” is a paradise! Clean beach, not loaded with people.

You can get to Vinpearl (by the way, it’s actually called Hon Che) by ferry by sea or by cable car. Of course, the second option is much more picturesque: you can admire the views of the sea and islands around. The cable car starts from the central ticket office of Vinpearl, near the Nha Trang port. The cost of a ticket per adult is 800,000 dong (about $35). The price includes funicular travel (both directions) and entrance to all parts of the park.

Things to do?

The park is simply wonderful! There is a lot of entertainment, but you can easily get lost. We advise you to take a free map and follow it.

Visitors to Vinpearl say that for local park entertainment for one day is negligible, you will probably want to come again. There is an amusement park, an arcade, a shopping area with souvenirs and decorations (prices are higher than in Nha Trang), a water park, an electric sleigh, an aquarium, and even a fountain show!

On the beach - as always, white sand, crystal azure water (warmer than on the city shore), an abundance of sun loungers and umbrellas and no problems with finding a place. You can rent a jet ski, the cost of this pleasure is about $44/hour.

By the way, almost all the beaches of Nha Trang have stunning sand, which is loved not only by tourists, but also by sand flies. Insect bites are not dangerous, but they are very itchy, and the wounds take a long time to heal. Local pharmacies have the remedies, just show the stings to the pharmacist and they will give you the medicine.

You should also be careful with the sun. On the Vietnamese coast, even those who usually only get a tan get burned. Don’t be lazy to use strong sun creams, and then the beaches of Nha Trang will leave you only pleasant memories.

The beaches and attractions of Nha Trang are marked on the map in Russian.

And finally - a video from Nha Trang.

The most desirable are the so-called Bounty style beaches. Many people imagine this style like this: palm trees leaning towards the water itself, a clear, azure sea, fine “singing” sand, exotic beauties and pumped-up guys from the movie “Baywatch”, happily frolicking by the water.

Some of the reviews about Paradise Beach correspond exactly to this description and we decided to definitely visit there.

Paradise Beach location

This corner untouched nature is located 50 km north of Nha Trang, 3 km from Zoklet beach and also to the north - a small beach near the private two-star resort "Paradise". Half a hundred meters of tidy shore, and around there is a wild beach in its natural beauty.

Admission is free, as on most beaches in Vietnam.

It has several sun umbrellas, sun loungers, fine sand, a flat, gently sloping bottom, and a calm sea.

The buildings are in a slightly dilapidated condition, like everything in Vietnam. Rain, wind, heat do their job. The owner of the hotel is French by nationality, which means he’s a bit of D’Artagnan. This gives the hotel the missing charm.

Paradise Beach - Nha Trang | How to get there

You can get to the beach in several ways:

  • take a one-day tour from some agencies. For example, in the Navigator company, one of the inexpensive ones in Nichenka. I mention Navigator because we ourselves used their services and were quite satisfied;
  • by bus number 3 to the final stop - Zoklet beach for 24,000 dong, and then slowly walk about 30 minutes to the north. You need to go through a colorful Vietnamese beach: sun loungers, hammocks, a roof right down to the water and aromas from numerous traditional restaurants - this is also Zoklet;
  • on a bike.

The third option we used was a fun ride on a rented bike.

Before we found the way to this secluded beach, we got a little lost. Not everywhere has asphalt pavement. We drove at him with splashes along the surf line through the distant fishing village, winding between round boats and beached coconuts.

During our visit, the weather was excellent along the entire coast, bright sun, turquoise transparent sea. There were almost no waves. The weather was exactly the same on Paradise Beach. There were about 15-20 vacationers on the shore. Although the beach is considered Bounty style, there are no angled palm trees on the shore hanging over the water. There are traditional mushrooms with a roof made of palm leaves.

The area of the cleaned shore is not large; even with good eyesight, the natural surroundings of this super beach are not very good to me. Photos without additional processing and Photoshop turn out to be the most ordinary. Quiet, beautiful, secluded place. From reviews: good three meals a day and a bungalow 10 meters from the sea costs about $25. But I haven’t been to the Paradise resort itself. Therefore, I can only evaluate the beach and that too subjectively. My overall rating is 4.

Here is an excerpt from their advertising brochure about holidays at the Paradise resort: The cost of a one-day tour is $27, for 2 days it is $74. The trip starts in a comfortable minibus at 7:30, ends at 16:30. You are provided with a bungalow for changing clothes, a shower and a cool rest, with a lunch of chicken kebab, potatoes, salad, cream soup, moonshine, rum-cola, fruit. And also free umbrellas, sun loungers, Wi-Fi, tea, coffee.

You can return to Nha Trang by bus No. 3 for 24,000 VND per person or by minibus for 30 VND. The last bus departs at 15:00-16:00. It's better not to be late. Bus schedule at the final stop of Zoklet beach.

A visit to Paradise Beach, or better yet not just the beach, is a great option to diversify your holiday in Vietnam, an opportunity to see new places, get a positive charge and have a great rest.

We continue our search for the beach of our dreams. Good luck!
