What is the closest airport to the resort village of Crimea. How to get from Simferopol airport to Crimean cities

Many of you are planning to relax in the summer of 2015 on the territory of the Crimean Peninsula and are wondering how to get to the resort areas of Crimea. So let's look at the different ways. Obviously, the most popular (and for many the only) ways are by plane or own car. And if everything is clear with your own car, then with an airplane - not so much. We conducted a little research and are ready to present you the result.

How much do tickets to Crimea cost?

So, we arrived at the airport in Simferopol. What's next?

By the way, the airport is located only 6 kilometers from the city of Simferopol, which greatly simplifies the process of getting into the city, and the availability large quantity public transport make this process quite affordable.

Car rental

One of the ideas that will allow you to save time and money is to rent a car: you won’t have to guess public transport routes and, perhaps, you will be able to save money by not overpaying for a taxi.

For example, in Crimea it will cost you from 2,000 rubles per day (the example shows the rental price for a week):

Taxi

Obviously, it is the simplest, but at the same time not the most budget method. In addition to the one we have given, there are a great many sites on the Internet dedicated to ordering. There you can view the prices, order a transfer for the time you need, find out the exact cost of the transfer to the place you need, and by indicating your flight number, no longer worry if your flight is delayed or arrives early. Taxi dispatchers will track everything independently and the taxi driver will meet you in the arrivals hall. There are no problems with this.

Another way to order a taxi is directly at the airport in the arrivals hall. Find a taxi dispatcher, select a car (you can choose from an economy class car to an executive car), pay, receive a receipt and get into your taxi. Very comfortably.

The average fare is as follows: to Feodosia or Koktebel - 2,500 rubles; to Alushta, Evpatoria, Nikolaevka or Peschanoye 1,200 – 1,500 rubles . A trip to Kerch will cost on average 4,000 rubles .

Public transport

Here everything is a little more complicated. It is important to determine to which resort area of Crimea? do you want to get in? For some destinations, buses run directly from the airport, but to get to others, you will first have to get into the city by bus. city railway station or the Kurortnaya bus station, which is located directly opposite the station. If you suddenly can't find direct route public transport from the airport to the resort area you need, then feel free to go to the Kurortnaya bus station in the city of Simferopol. From it you can get to almost any point in Crimea.

From airport to bus station "Kurortnaya" and the railway station can be reached by trolleybuses No. 8/9 and 11, buses No. 98 and 115 and minibuses No. 49. The cost of travel by any type of transport is 9 rubles. Movement interval: 10-15 minutes.

The airport map shows a public transport stop: buses, minibuses, trolleybuses and taxis. They are located opposite the arrivals hall, about 50 meters across the road. Ticket offices (bus and trolleybus) to the right of the public transport parking lot.

Don't forget about excursions — . For example, " " for 1,500 rubles .

So, we’ve sorted out the main types of transport, let’s think about where we’re going next?

Car rental

In fact, it is not always profitable to rent a car on the spot upon arrival. It is better to book a car in advance, and upon arrival simply pick up the car and move further along the peninsula on “your own wheels.” Prices at different car rental companies in Crimea differ significantly, as do rental conditions. What I wrote about in the post linked above.

Taxi

Of course, there is also a taxi service at the Simferopol Central Airport. The control room is located in Terminal A, and the taxi rank is opposite the arrivals terminal.

Prices and payment are by meter. The cost of a taxi ride depends on the class of the car. Economy class cars – 30 rubles/km. Comfort class – from 35 rub./km. The price of a trip in a business class car is negotiated individually.

Private taxi drivers also work at the airport. It is better to negotiate the price of the trip with them in advance.

Well, as an option, you can always order a transfer, which will already be waiting for you at the airport upon arrival. There are now enough online ordering services, and many hotels in Crimea offer such a service.

Hotels at Simferopol Airport

It happens that there is a night or early morning flight, when it is much more comfortable to spend the night in a hotel at the airport than to go on a flight in the middle of the night or early in the morning. A hotel has been opened at the Simferopol airport especially for such situations. It is located right on the airport territory, prices start from 1240 rubles. per room. All questions about prices and reservations can be written to the hotel’s e-mail [email protected] .

There are other hotels near the airport. One of the closest is the TPP-hotel on Krzhizhanovskogo. Quite a decent modern hotel.

Which is the civil airport of Simferopol - an air harbor called the capital of the peninsula. Two million people a year pass through this estuary, let’s tell you more about it.

How it all began

In the seemingly distant year 1936, the USSR government decided to build an airport in Simferopol, and work began in May of the same year. Before the start of the war, the rebuilt air harbor served airliners on the Simferopol - Kyiv and Simferopol - Kharkov routes. In 1957, during the time of massive construction and renewal of our country (post-war), the Simferopol airport received a new round of development. In particular, a new air terminal was built and put into operation. And in 1960, a concrete runway began its work, then after that, in 1977, the construction of a second runway for Il-86 aircraft began (its length was 3,700 meters). Over time, everything changes, and by the beginning of the 2000s, the old strip, whose length is 2,700 m, began to be used as a taxiway. And the new one is still a runway for taking off and landing aircraft.

Airport today

Today the airport (Simferopol) is the base for such airlines as Crimean Sunrises and Air Onix; there is a free wifi, and the extensive infrastructure allows the Crimean leadership to be proud of their air gateway to the city, and not to be ashamed of foreigners. The airport infrastructure includes a business lounge with check-in counters and an area customs control, located on the second floor of Terminal B. There is a relaxation area where you can use free Internet and watch TV, eat and drink in 24-hour establishments and go shopping, and there is also a meeting room. Passengers receive information about flight departure times regularly - there is a voice notification.

Taxiing time for aircraft is approximately 10 minutes - the runway is located somewhat further from the taxiway. It is noteworthy that under the strip there is a tunnel of the road connecting Simferopol with Yevpatoria, and this route is parallel to the path along which the planes taxi. The distance from Simferopol to Simferopol airport is approximately 14 kilometers (we take the distance to the city railway station).

Hotel

Without leaving the airport complex, you can get to the hotel, located literally a five-minute walk from the nearest terminal. The hotel has about a hundred rooms of various categories, from economy to luxury. In the first case, you will have access to a TV, a bathroom and two beds, while “luxury” rooms are additionally equipped with a refrigerator and a minibar, as well as a place for preparing food. Accommodation at the hotel is accompanied by buffet breakfasts, which are included in the cost of accommodation. There is a free Internet, a gym is available for a fee, and if you wish, you can use the storage room located in the reception area.

Statistics

In connection with the political situation and the development of Crimea Russian citizens As hosts and not guests, great hopes are pinned on Simferopol Airport today. In 2014, 11,602 flights were carried out at the Crimean air harbor, which, according to statistics, amounted to a 55% increase from last year’s data. At the end of 2014, the volume of passenger traffic carried out through Simferopol airport amounted to more than 2.8 million passengers, thereby exceeding the 2013 figures by 2.3 times. In the first two months of 2015 alone, the volume of passenger traffic to Crimea from Moscow Domodedovo Airport increased by 14 times. What if we take all Moscow airports together? And not only Moscow, but cities throughout Russia? The airport's plans included serving more than 3.2 million passengers in 2015, let's see if they came true?

Development and information

In the first months of 2015, compared to March 2014, Simferopol Airport created 1.3 thousand jobs, in addition, staff salaries were increased more than twice, and tax contributions to the budget - five times.

If you want to clarify the information, you can use the website, which contains not only an online scoreboard, but also many additional information about the rules for transporting goods, about selling tickets, etc., or you can call the Simferopol airport - the phone number is open 24 hours a day: +380 652 59 55 45. You can check in online for your flight; you need to check the airline on the website.

Terminals

The airport is divided into terminals A and B, the latter of which consists of three sectors. The airport also has Terminal C, which serves domestic passengers. Passengers arriving in Crimea pass through one terminal.

In order to check in for a flight, passengers of Aeroflot, Donavia and Rossiya airlines, as well as Orenburg Airlines and all international destinations must go to Terminal B. Check-in for flights of other airlines is carried out in Terminal C.

How to get there

Crimea is a vast peninsula with many settlements. And from the airport to almost everything big cities In the area there is intercity public transport - trolleybuses (go to Yalta and Alushta) and buses. At the same time, the maximum traffic interval for transport is one hour, so you won’t have to wait much either on weekdays or on weekends, and in extreme cases you can always use a taxi. This, by the way, is the easiest way to get from Simferopol airport to the city and vice versa.

If you have a personal car, no problem. There is 24-hour guarded parking near the airport. But how to get to Simferopol airport if your own car is currently unavailable to you?

Public routes: trolleybus

Trolleybus number 9 will cover the distance from Simferopol to Simferopol Airport in half an hour. It runs every 15 minutes from the city's train station. There is also a minibus running along this route every day, which will take you to the airport or the city in just 15 minutes with an interval of 15-20 minutes.

Buses

So, you are at the Simferopol Airport bus stop (the photo illustrates its location). In general, it is easy to find - it is located in the parking lot. Route 49 departs from here, leading to the city bus station, as well as buses 98 (Fontany - Airport) , 100 (from the Kamenka stop) and 115 (airport - Pnevmatika). Their final stop is also the railway station, but they get to it in different ways.

You look for it yourself in the parking lot, look for the driver, hand him a receipt, and - voila, forward to your goal! A trip to the center of Simferopol will cost about 200 rubles per day. low season, and in summer the price may be twice as high.

For VIPs

The Simferopol airport, photos of which are presented in the article, has a VIP lounge for important people. Those passengers who have the means and want maximum comfort can use the services of personal escort, order delivery of luggage to the check-in counter, and also avoid queues and wasted time when going through airport formalities - special services will do everything for them, and even treat them to coffee.

Inquiries by phone...

If you are flying through Simferopol airport, the telephone number is one help desk, where everyone can find out any information they are interested in regarding both the airport and flights, it will be useful to you - 0-900-31-657-1. You can also get help from your mobile phone by dialing 657, the cost of the call is approximately 25 rubles.

New name?

In May 2015, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decided to rename the Simferopol airport, giving it the name of the twice hero of the USSR, Soviet pilot Amet Khan Sultan, who was a Crimean Tatar. 240 deputies spoke in support of this decision, but it caused a resonance. The territory of Crimea is now Russia, and why does Ukraine interfere in the affairs of another country and change the name of an airport that no longer belongs to it? Many called this decision provocative...

Taxi from and to the airport of Simferopol

At the airport, cases of “warming up” on tourists are very common. Upon arrival in Crimea, at the exit from the airport you will inevitably be surrounded by local taxi drivers, who enjoy the popularity of holidays on the peninsula and charge prices one higher than the other. There is an effective way to avoid getting into trouble with “extra tariffs”. One of the most effective alternatives is to call a taxi online. It is quite possible to catch a taxi at the airport terminal, but with this option, all risks are transferred to the passenger; the cost of a taxi may cost you 2 times more than the real tariff. That is why it is advisable to place a pre-order in the search form below. Your order confirmation will be sent to you by email, and the driver will be waiting at the exit from the arrivals area with a sign with your name on it. The driver can also help you with your luggage, and payment of the full cost will be made only after arriving at the place, which you will already know when booking a taxi.

Find cheap flights

If you have not yet purchased air tickets to Simferopol, then right now you can use the convenient search form. All you need to do is enter your origin and destination and your expected travel dates, and then click “Find flights.” The air ticket search engine will select the optimal route for you and show the minimum price among airlines and air ticket sales agencies.

To begin with, I would like to answer a question that probably has arisen in your mind. There is only one airport in Crimea, and he is located in Simferopol 12 km from the city. The airport currently only operates flights from Russian cities, international flights the airport does not accept.

The airport's passenger turnover is constantly growing, and last year it amounted to more than 2.8 million people. The airport has terminals A and B, which accept flights from Russia. From Moscow to Crimea (to Simferopol) planes fly from all airports. Every day there are the most flights from Domodedovo Airport. The most low prices for an air ticket on Red Wings flights. Next you can see a selection of all airlines that fly from Moscow airports to Crimea.

I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the buses most often travel are antediluvian and without air conditioning, and it takes them hours to cover even a short distance. But this is the most economical form of transport.

I have indicated the distance to the most popular resort and major cities of Crimea from Simferopol airport in the table below.

Taxi from Simferopol airport

Upon arrival in Crimea, at the exit from the airport you will inevitably be surrounded by local arrogant taxi drivers, taking advantage of the growing popularity of holidays on the peninsula and charging prices one higher than the other. My advice to you: do not waste time negotiating with them and your nerves, but use the Internet in advance at a fixed price in a reliable company, so that your trip to your destination: be it Simferopol or other cities of Crimea, will be as trouble-free and comfortable as possible.

Taxi is, without a doubt, the most convenient form of transport. You will get to the hotel in comfort, and not on an old bus or trolleybus that will drag and does not have air conditioning. A taxi here is quite inexpensive, so almost every vacationer can afford one.

If you still decide to take a taxi on the spot without pre-ordering it, then immediately agree on the exact fare and the currency in which you will pay.

Rent a car at Simferopol airport in Crimea

If you like freedom of movement, then renting a car is the option for you. But, since the situation with Crimea is ambiguous, international rental companies have never entered the peninsula. This means that a car can only be rented from private rental companies. But, during the peak season, there are not enough cars for everyone or not all rental companies are honest. Therefore, I recommend renting a car through the Myrentacar website, which specializes in selecting cars only from trusted rental companies.

You will like the rental conditions, especially the fact that the deposit can be left in cash rather than through a credit card, and some cars can be rented without a deposit. The rented car can be picked up both at the Simferopol airport and in other cities of Crimea: Sevastopol, Yalta, Feodosia, Alupka, Alushta, Evpatoria, Koktebel, Sudak, etc.
