Holidays in Crimea Lyubimovka. Rest in Lyubimovka

Not only lovers of antiquity and connoisseurs of military power come to Sevastopol, but also ordinary vacationers who want to swim in the sea. For first-timers, the village of Lyubimovka is not suitable - it will take a long time to get to the main attractions of the city. But connoisseurs of summer swimming in Crimea will like the beaches of Lyubimovka - they are spacious and comfortable.

It is often called laconically and simply - “Lyubimovka”. But the division of beaches in the village, which has long become an urban area of Sevastopol, is conditional - passage is free everywhere, there are no marked borders. Spacious coastline stretches to one side and to the other.

The most comfortable part of the coast is called the village beach. It also includes the edges of several boarding houses, but they do not close access to their territory to ordinary visitors. Hotel strips enjoy a good reputation due to their approximate cleanliness; reviews often recommend them.

The central beach is the most popular in Lyubimovka due to its convenient location. Even during peak season, you don’t have to worry that someone won’t have enough space here. The edge is up to 100 m wide and stretches along the shore for a kilometer, so visitors cannot pack it all in tightly. Rest is especially comfortable due to the small number of pebbles on the shore. It is so mixed with fine soft sand that it is almost not felt. The pebbles are small, guests do not need beach shoes.

The center has all the modern infrastructure - there are no problems with changing rooms, showers and toilets, there are enough cafes and food stalls. It even exists. You can get a sunbed and an umbrella. Installed along the shore waterslides, those who wish are offered a ride on a banana or a tablet. There is often evening entertainment on the beach, although in general Lyubimovka does not have a vibrant nightlife.

A particularly popular attraction among parents with children. Its “children’s” section is considered to be the St. Valentine’s Lagoon. It is shallow (no deeper than one and a half meters), so it warms up quickly and strongly and is safe for swimming for children who cannot swim. This harbor often becomes a swimming school for children.

It is located not far from Lyubimovka; in the village itself there is an aviation garrison. The pilots live near the shore, and the area located next to the part received its name because of this. It is impossible to indicate its exact boundaries; Garrison beach is a continuation of the previous one to the side.

However, it is not inferior to Central in space, but its infrastructure is poorer. However, locker rooms and toilets are present; the coastline is not wild. Many vacationers who do not like the hot midday sun appreciate the place for the presence of stationary shade canopies. For a reasonable fee you can rent a sun lounger, umbrella or mattress.

There is less entertainment here. In most cases, beachgoers have to entertain themselves. It’s worse here with food, the number of cafes and stalls is limited. Peddlers often appear - they sell inexpensively, but their goods must be treated with caution. However, the situation with seaside trade in Crimea changes every year, so the new season may give a different picture.

A little worse on Garrison Beach and with a coating. On it, pebbles and sand alternate with each other and are mixed. But in general, the approach is comfortable - you can sunbathe on a mat or towel without the risk of bruising your sides.

Recreation is suitable for holidaymakers who are undemanding in terms of the number of attractions and do not like unnecessary noise. There are many locations on it. Convenient access to the sea and the presence of all the really necessary amenities make the property suitable for families with children.

Wild (nudist) beaches in Lyubimovka

Not all vacationers value beach infrastructure - for some, privacy and silence are more important. They will definitely consider wild beaches in Lyubimovka, whose photos amaze the imagination with their scope. They stretched to the side for several kilometers, where they could not be found.

Conventionally, the shores are considered Lyubimovsky. Indeed, nude sunbathers settle down here, but there is so much space that both nudists and holidaymakers in swimsuits can easily fit there. The latter are found more often the closer to Orlovsky and Kacha.

At long stay on a nudist beach you will have to bring everything you need with you - not here fresh water and food stalls. Maintaining cleanliness is also the responsibility of the vacationers themselves. Theoretically, you can camp here in a tent. But the wild section is often covered with pebbles; this inconvenience must be taken into account when attaching the pegs. There is no firewood nearby; you will also have to deliver it yourself. But the entrance to the water is still wonderful, and the surface is not large; experienced people sunbathe directly on it.

Fans of the traditional dress code who decide to settle here should remember to be tolerant of nudists. This is their territory, even if not entirely officially. Therefore, the area is not entirely suitable for swimming with children.

This is an abolished village, now a microdistrict in the north of Sevastopol.

Most likely, the name arose in the twenties (it is reliably known that in 1923 it already existed) of the twentieth century, when Sevastopol residents began to visit the local magnificent beach, and it can be interpreted as “ favorite place rest, swimming”, etc.

During heroic defense Sevastopol 1941–1942 In Lyubimovka, command posts of the fourth sector of the Special Operations Command and the 95th Infantry Division were located. Here is also the mass grave of the soldiers of this division and the defenders of the 30th coastal battery.

Lyubimovka is located 5 kilometers from the boat piers on the North Side. Closely adjacent to it international Airport Belbek, military unit A-4515 is located on the territory. The Uchkuevka beach, famous among Sevastopol residents, is a 5-minute drive from Lyubimovka.

Disadvantages include undeveloped infrastructure, a small number of entertainment facilities and sparse vegetation.

Story

The name Lyubimovka first appears in documents dated November 19, 1920. Then the Lyubimovsky rural revolutionary committee was organized, which operated until August 1921.

In accordance with the Resolution of the Presidium of the Central Executive Committee of the Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic dated February 25, 1938, Sevastopol was divided into 3 city districts: Central, Korabelny and Northern. At the same time, the village councils of the Northern side were abolished (Lyubimovsky, Bartenevsky, etc.). This was a territory within the city limits, which then practically coincided with the administrative border.

Beaches

The beaches of Lyubimovka are wide and truly endless: yellow-white-orange sand spreads in soft dunes, giving way to gray-blue pebbles, and nearby there is a picturesque clay shore.

The central beach - "Lyubimovka" - is crowded and colorful, with water attractions, a children's lagoon of St. Valentine, tents with cold drinks, with many shops nearby and cafes nearby. Most often it becomes the choice of tourists, but despite this, even in the midst of summer, you can always find a place on it. It is not so easy to occupy 50–100 meters of width and more than a kilometer of length, especially since nearby, completely without any boundaries, there are other, no smaller sections of the coast.

On the one hand, there is the Garrison Beach, so named for its proximity to the garrison of pilots, and on the other, the beaches tourist centers and sanatoriums. Tourist base "Lyubimovka", sanatorium "Albatross", Kid `s camp"Altair", recreation center "Horizon" and tourist complex "Mokrousova". They occupy the coast all the way to Uchkuevka. These tourist facilities keep the surrounding beaches clean without restricting access at all.

Behind Garrison Beach is a popular nudist beach. The strip of wild coastline stretches and stretches, kilometer after kilometer, giving even the most shy nudist the opportunity to get an even tan away from prying eyes. If you walk in this direction for a very long time, you will again come across clothed people, and the wild shores will be occupied by equipped beaches, campsites and shops. These are Orlovka and Kacha - neighbors of Lyubimovka, also in demand, but more remote beach resorts Sevastopol.

Attractions

In Lyubimovka they prevail sandy beaches more than a kilometer long. Walking along the beach a little north, you can see a unique a natural phenomenon: the most big rock Kalamitsky coast. Looking at it, it seems as if someone was cutting the shore with a giant knife; it was here that some scenes of the film “A Driver for Vera” were filmed.

Here is the primary winemaking enterprise - the Alkadar winery named after. Sofia Perovskaya. There are tours of the enterprise, its museum, as well as a visit to the tasting room.

On the approaches to the city of Sevastopol, above Lyubimovka, there is the legendary 30th coastal battery, which began to be built back in tsarist times, before the revolution, in 1913. She held the defense even in the first world war, and then courageously defended Sevastopol during the Great Patriotic War. It is the largest fortification structure in Sevastopol. During the defense of Sevastopol in 1941–1942, the battery was surrounded by the Nazis (they respectfully dubbed it Fort “Maxim Gorky - 1”) and almost all of its personnel died. After the war, the battery was restored, and until 1997 it provided the coastal defense of Sevastopol. Nowadays, the Museum of Coastal Troops of the Russian Black Sea Fleet has been created here, which displays a unique exhibition of samples of shells that were used during shelling by both the personnel of the 30th battery and German super-guns during the Great Patriotic War.

Next to the battery there is a white stone chapel - the Church of the New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia. The domes of the chapel-temple shine with gold just ahead of the gun towers on the slope. A direct path leads from the church to the mass grave, where the soldiers of the fort and the defenders of Sevastopol are buried.

Another battery in the vicinity is Fort Shishkova (No. 16) - these are two old pre-revolutionary batteries located between Uchkuevka and the mouth of Belbek, on a ridge stretching along the coast. In 1914, during the First World War, this battery fired at the battle cruiser Goeben approaching Sevastopol, and during the defense of Sevastopol in 1941–42. “Fort Shishkova” was an infantry stronghold on the anti-landing line of defense. The complex is currently abandoned.
