Where Russians like to relax. So where are those treasured places where the sun is brighter, the liver is healthier, the nature is more beautiful (because there are no Russians)? Where do Russians go on holiday now?

For many years now, Turkish resorts have remained leaders in the ranking of popular holiday destinations among Russian tourist travelers. According to experts in the tourism industry, this is due, first of all, to the optimal price-quality ratio. Turkey is also chosen by Russians who are afraid to fly to the currently restless Egypt and relatively expensive Thailand. And there you can improve your health at spa resorts, relieve fatigue in the hammam and enjoy a beach holiday. Read below about which other countries are included in the TOP 10 holiday destinations for Russian Internet users.

Travel preferences of Internet users

Compiling a rating by an Internet search engine allows you to find out what exactly potential travelers were interested in in a particular country. Internet search engine analysts summed up travel queries to get a rough picture of which countries were popular among Russian tourists in 2013.

As it turned out, the palm still belongs to Turkey. It is followed by Egypt, which is slowly regaining its popularity, which had fallen sharply due to the unstable political situation. Thailand, which was still a model of calm in October, is in third place in the ranking, while Italy is fourth.

Greece was only in fifth place, but in sixth place was Finland, which, with the onset of heavy snowfalls and cold weather, “felt” more and more confident. Cyprus is in seventh position, the United Arab Emirates is in eighth place, the Czech Republic is in ninth place, and Spain completes the list.

Despite the fact that interest in a particular tourist destination does not mean that people are going on vacation to this country, the ranking of countries from Internet search engines allows you to find out what exactly potential travelers were interested in in these countries.

1. Türkiye

An interesting situation has developed with the leader of the country ranking. On the one hand, the number of requests has halved, on the other hand, at the end of 2013, Russian tourists broke another record for the number of vacationers on Turkish beaches.

It should be taken into account that the end of the year is far from the most popular period for holidays in Turkey. According to analysts of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, this state of affairs is due to the fact that many tourists who were planning to vacation in Egypt went to Turkey due to the unrest in the country of the pyramids. Of course, they were interested in a beach holiday.

2. Egypt

Despite political unrest, Egypt remains one of the most popular destinations among Russian tourists. The most popular resort here turned out to be Sharm el-Sheikh, which, however, is not surprising, since the security situation there remained fairly stable. Following it is another resort, which was practically not affected by the protests - Hurghada.

3. Thailand

According to search queries, residents of the cold regions of our country: Siberia and the Far East most willingly flew to hot Thailand. Tours during the New Year holidays were of greatest interest to tourists. At the same time, Phuket turned out to be the most popular resort.

4. Italy

If the top three were of interest to tourists solely from the point of view of a beach holiday, then in Italy ski resorts turned out to be attractive for our compatriots. Users most often considered Austria and Germany as alternatives to Italy. In addition, many were looking for a map of Italy in Russian, which suggests interest from independent travelers who prefer to move around the country by car or travel by train.

5. Greece

Greece, compared to the end of 2013, received half as many requests. However, here users were not so much interested in Greek beaches as in shopping tours, as well as sightseeing trips around the country. At the same time, there were very few requests for pilgrimage tours for the entire month - about five hundred.

6. Finland

Finland was of interest to Russian travelers primarily in connection with the approaching New Year holidays. In this case, preference was given to short tours lasting no more than three days.

Russians were also interested in ferry travel and bus tours to this northern country. There were also a lot of requests for fishing in Finland. Tourists considered France and Hungary as an alternative to Finland, which is quite difficult to explain logically.

7. Cyprus

The interest of Russian tourists in Cyprus decreased somewhat by the end of the year, as noted in analytical reports. The reason for this is the end of the high season. In addition, the number of requests for a Cyprus visa has also decreased by half. Users searched for Greece or Tunisia as an alternative to Cyprus.

8. UAE

Analysts attribute the increased number of requests for holidays in the Emirates to the same situation in Egypt - the number of requests has doubled, while users considered Thailand and China as alternatives to holidays in the UAE.

9. Czech

The interest of Russian tourists in the Czech Republic has decreased somewhat. However, the number of requests for tours with upcoming departure dates has increased noticeably, as has the demand for sightseeing tours.

At the same time, travelers showed the greatest interest not so much in flying or purchasing a tour, but in accommodation in the Czech Republic. This may also indicate that a sufficient number of independent tourists are showing interest in this country. As an alternative, tourists considered other European countries - France and Austria.

10. Spain

By the end of the year, this country also turned out to be a victim of the end of the high season - interest in it dropped so much that Spain moved from sixth place in the ranking of popular countries to tenth in just a month. There was also a change in the course of tourists’ interests: they switched from beaches to excursion holidays.

In addition, our Russian travelers were interested in the possibility of relaxing in Spain during the New Year holidays. The most popular places there were Barcelona, Madrid and Tenerife. And as an alternative, users were interested in Goa, Turkey and Greece.

Russian tourists, when booking a summer vacation this year, are trying to stay within the amount of about 60 thousand rubles. for two on a week-long trip. IN called the most popular resorts this summer and calculated how much a vacation in a particular country would cost.

Türkiye

The country has become the most popular according to the results of summer bookings with most mass tour operators:, NTK,. Compared to last year, when Turkey was partially closed to organized tourism, the popularity of its resorts has increased significantly. The Turkish tourism business expects the Russian market to recover to 2015 levels.

Russians travel to Turkey for an average of 10 days and prefer five-star all-inclusive stays. A trip in August costs 84-86 thousand rubles, but can cost more or less depending on the resort and hotel class. This summer, the most popular destination has become the coast of Antalya, where the relatively cheap Kemer is in the lead.

Resorts of the Russian Black Sea region

Second place goes to vacations in Crimea, resorts in the Krasnodar Territory and Abkhazia, which is classified as domestic tourism. Although tour bookings to these destinations are down this year, they remain among the top five most popular summer destinations. For those operators who have invested in marketing and promotion of the destination, Russian resorts are leaders in the number of bookings - for example, Biblio Globus, through which from January 1 to July 1, 536,374 tourists vacationed at the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea, which is 92 % more than last year.

Compatriots prefer to go to Russian beach resorts for a short time - for 3-7 nights and most often choose three- or four-star hotels. Vacation costs them 50-60 thousand rubles. for two.

Greece

Greece ranks second to sixth among major tour operators in terms of summer bookings; the most popular resorts are the islands of Rhodes and Crete. In Greece, Russians prefer to vacation for 10 nights and choose mainly four- and five-star hotels. A vacation here costs on average 80-100 thousand rubles.

Cyprus

The island entered the top 5 popular summer destinations - the country is in second place with TUI Russia and Biblio Globus. The leading resort is Ayia Napa. 10 days of vacation in Cyprus, most often in a 3-4* hotel, costs an average of 80-100 thousand rubles, as in Greece, but a lot depends on the resort and the level of the hotel.

Bulgaria

In Bulgaria, the leaders are such resorts as Sunny Beach and Nessebar: tourists prefer budget hotels and hotels offering all-inclusive holidays and, on average, travel to the country for 10 days.

Montenegro

Most often, tourists are interested in the resort of Budva. ATOR calls the country an anomaly this summer due to the types of accommodation requested - tourists often ask for private accommodation, and demand for villas is growing. Four-star hotels are also popular. Montenegro has the longest holiday - up to 14 nights.

Don't know where to spend your holiday? Has your passport expired? Don't have enough money for a foreign tour? Bored of exotic camps? If you gave a positive answer to at least one of the above questions, it’s time to think about a holiday in Russia. The unique geographical location of the country makes it possible to choose a trip to suit everyone’s tastes. In Russia you can find a healthy alternative to any foreign resorts. Instead of Czech Karlovy Vary, you can improve your health in the sanatoriums of Mineralnye Vody, Pyatigorsk and Zheleznovodsk. The St. Petersburg Hermitage is in no way inferior in its exhibition to the best museums in Europe, and the famous French Versailles pales somewhat in front of the ceremonial beauty of Peterhof. Dombay, Khibiny, Altai, Ural, for ski lovers there are slopes of any complexity, and the beauty of the mountain landscapes is no worse than in the Swiss Alps. For all those whose soul is yearning for the sea, there is a direct road to the Russian subtropics, to the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory.

How much does a holiday in Adler cost? September 2018.

tour cost

We vacationed in Adler in September 2018. Tickets were taken from Krasnoyarsk six months earlier. The cost of tickets from Krasnoyarsk to Adler by plane cost us 46,000 rubles for two people there and back. We found a suitable hotel at the holiday distribution point, not far from the sea. It's called "Angelina", on Prosveshcheniya Street. The hotel is cool with a huge veranda on the 2nd floor, on the first floor there is a dining room. The room for living is cozy, there is air conditioning, TV, Euro-chair, spacious double bed. Kitchen with everything you need for four rooms. The cost of a night's stay was 1600. We rested for 10 days.

We went to the Olympic sites: Gorki-Gorod, Rosa Khutor, the price of the excursion was 2500 rubles per person. In the evening we visited the singing fountain in the Olympic Park. The cost is 500 rubles per each +500 taxi. Total for two 1500 rubles. We went on a boat ride to see the dolphins for 3,000 rubles.

Food and products

In the canteen, an average lunch costs 250-300 rubles. Beer is expensive 100 rubles a liter. The wine and chacha in the stalls are tasty and inexpensive. A bottle of chacha costs 200 rubles and so does wine. For some reason, vegetables are expensive in the south, at least in Adler. Tomatoes 80 rubles. Apples 100 rubles, grapes 90 rubles.

Souvenirs and other goods

Prices for clothes are approximately the same as in Moscow. Magnets are cheap from 10 to 30 rubles. We called all our relatives and friends. Souvenirs too - we bought a cat as a gift for our friends with the inscription “I want to go to the sea”, its price was 250 rubles.

Cost of services and entertainment

We used fish skin cleaning services, I forgot what it’s called. On the beach itself, I paid 300 rubles for 10 minutes.

Impressions from a holiday in July

A good time to relax - the sea is warm, the air temperature is stable, there is little precipitation, the nights are warm.

Vacation with children

The Sea of Azov is shallow and warm - ideal for children. Vacationers are family-oriented, calm, adequate. The beaches are sandy, with shells and pebbles. Excellent parks in the city, where you can find a huge number of attractions and entertainment. All cafes and canteens are designed for families with children, delicious children's menus, low prices.

What to take with you on vacation?

Be sure to take swimwear, you don’t want to leave the sea - it’s warm, quite clean! Sunscreen is a must, July is the sunniest and hottest month for Yeysk. Plus, for Kamenka beach you should take special shoes for a more comfortable and convenient entry into the sea.

Where is the best place to stay?

Private sector, there are a lot of housing offers, choose closer to the beach. There are guest houses and hotels in the first line from the beach - an excellent option for the youngest children, with a minimum of movement.

What to do at the resort?

Poddubny Park is a very good park. Park named after Gorky. Dolphinarium. Oceanarium. Crocodile farm. Near the embankment there is a fairly large Rope Park - for children of different ages.

It is definitely worth visiting the Dolzhanskaya Spit, namely the Cossack Coast. The cleanliness of the beach will pleasantly surprise you, a comfortable recreation area with bungalows and attractions. The sea is clean, the beach is small and large shell rock. Don't forget comfortable shoes when going into the sea; there are people who cannot walk on the hard shell rock. On the way to the Cossack Coast there is a melon patch with excellent watermelons and melons. And also an apiary where bees produce honey before your eyes, and they can pour it into a jar in front of you.

Beaches of different types. There is rocky, large stones, sand. There is sand with shell rock. There is also one with fine sand, which is ideal for children. The beaches are quite clean, there are attractions, changing cabins, and toilets. There is also a water park, stalls with souvenirs and swimwear. On the embankment there is a huge amusement park with a Ferris wheel. The only negative is that it is very crowded in July.

What can you buy?

There is tourist shopping; buying souvenirs is quite inexpensive. Price from 25 rubles! The most interesting option is local cosmetics, cosmetic accessories, various creams, balms, therapeutic muds, clay. Prices are reasonable, goods are of good quality.

Let me make a reservation right away: the phrase “Where to go on vacation abroad” implies that the vacation should be eventful and varied. Otherwise, it’s better to buy a box of vodka and go to the dacha: it will be cheaper, but the effect will be the same.

So, we have considered the “Nowhere” item. And now – about where to go on vacation abroad in 2019.

Many people are now abandoning foreign tours due to the economic crisis, the fall of the ruble and the rising dollar. Some people do this because they really cannot afford a holiday abroad in 2019. But many people refuse to travel only because they don’t know where to go on vacation abroad on a budget. But there are many such places! And in this article we will look at three of them - the cheapest, in my opinion (we do not take Belarus into account).

Since we are talking about 2019, when, we will consider only those cities and countries where you can travel inexpensively. I present to you three places where to go on vacation abroad in 2019 and not go broke.

Where to go abroad inexpensively in 2019? This photo shows one of the options described below.

Option 1: Thailand, Pattaya

One of the advantages of Pattaya is low prices for food, transport, souvenirs, etc. You can see this by reading the article. Another difference between Pattaya is that from many regions of Russia it is often cheaper to fly here on your own than as part of a package tour.

And to the question “Where to go on holiday from Pattaya”, the answer is unequivocal - to the island of Koh Larn! The photo shows one of the best beaches on the island, Tien beach.

Here's what a quick search of booking systems showed:

Where to go on vacation abroad? Option 2: Laos, Vang Vieng

You may not have heard that you can relax in a civilized manner in this incomprehensible country. But for me, the answer to the question “where to go on vacation abroad at the current exchange rate of the ruble” is unequivocal: to Laos! And it’s not just about the exchange rate; it’s not for nothing that this country has long been chosen by tourists from Europe, America and South Korea. Yes, Laos has two serious disadvantages:

1. Lack of sea.
2. It is difficult to get there directly.

But this country also has two main advantages:

1. Very beautiful nature.
2. Very low prices.

But if you want to see this beautiful nature, you don’t need to go to the capital of the country, Vientiane. Go to the village of Vang Vieng, two hundred kilometers from the capital. Moreover, you can do this without visiting Vientiane. You can get to Vang Vieng on a budget like this: buy inexpensive air tickets to Bangkok, take a bus to the northern Thai town of Nong Khai or Udon Thani, from where there are direct buses to Vang Vieng. Yes, the path is not easy, but believe me: it is worth it! Here are a couple of photos of Vang Vieng to prove it:

Where to go on vacation abroad in 2019 after Turkey and Thailand? Of course, to Vang Vieng! Only there you can swim in this amazing lagoon...

...and live in hotel with such a beautiful view for mere pennies!

Prices hotels in Vang Vieng not at all high: for $15 a day you can rent an excellent room with a view of the river and dragon mountains of unearthly beauty. You can find a hotel in Vang Vieng using different booking systems:

Entertainment in Vang Vieng also costs mere pennies. For example, kayaking for the whole day along mountain rivers against the backdrop of amazing scenery costs only $12! But I won’t go into too much detail, because we have a separate article about. By the way, as for food, in Laos it is even more familiar to Russian tourists than Thai food. The French colonialists taught them to love rolls and other European food, which they happily prepare and sell for mere pennies. Welcome to Laos, friends!

Where to go on vacation abroad? Option 3: Türkiye, Antalya

For many, Turkey has always been a country of “seal” holidays by the pool or on the hotel beach. But in times of crisis, Turkey becomes one of the places where those for whom a vacation is a real journey, eventful and varied, can go on vacation abroad. After all, Türkiye is a very interesting country, if you go beyond the limited scope. Have you seen the mountains in Turkey? And the waterfalls? What about ancient cities? If not, then it's time to discover this amazing country! You can get to Turkey not only on a package tour: you can find cheap flights from Moscow to Antalya dollars for 300-400 for two round-trip, but you can find a hotel through the reservation system.

Read more about independent travel to Turkey in our articles:

In addition, prices in Turkey are very reasonable for Russians. After all, the exchange rate of the Turkish lira, like the ruble, has also fallen significantly recently. Therefore, if in Thailand, for example, prices doubled when converted to rubles, then in Turkey - by 30 percent. What is not an argument in favor of Turkey when answering the question “Where to go on vacation abroad at the current exchange rate of the ruble?”

Where will Russians go on vacation in 2019? The period plans to become revolutionary in the world of tourism. After all, two of the most anticipated tourist destinations have disappeared from the market - Türkiye and, of course, .

Although, judging by the latest news, Egypt is planning to open in May of this year, and many tourists do not even think about vacationing in Russia, everyone is waiting for news from Egypt.

Also, it is worth noting that the situation is changing for the better, for example, Kazakhstan is already deciding to resume flights to Egypt, who is next in line? I think Russia will not keep you waiting long.

As for statistics, analysts can only guess and make predictions - how the flow of those wishing to spend their long-awaited vacation away from work and bustle will be redistributed.

By the way, I recently met my mother-in-law, who also runs his own blog about tourism and is looking for ways - solutions for inexpensive holiday destinations, here is his website - uznaju.com. If you have a free minute, then come and visit him; personally, I found a lot of interesting and new things for myself.

The king of beach holidays this year will undoubtedly be Cyprus. There are many reasons for this: a mild climate, excellent beaches, a huge number of attractions, cuisine that can surprise even gourmets and, most importantly, the low cost of travel.

Cyprus is perhaps the only European destination that fits into the same price category as Turkey, beloved by Russian tourists.

As in previous years, Bulgarian resorts do not lose their popularity. This country is especially close to Russians both in terms of mentality and due to the absence of a language barrier.

Many local residents not only understand, but also speak our native language quite well. In addition to this, there is a constantly developing infrastructure, a high level of service, a pleasant climate and the opportunity not only to lie on the beach, but also to make “excursion trips”. Bulgaria is rich not only in sand and sun, but also in attractions.

And, of course, another reason to go to Bulgaria is the opportunity to taste the legendary local wine.

Judging by the statistics of visits to foreign countries by Russians in recent years, it can be noted that it is becoming more and more popular among Russian tourists.

This year, interest in it will obviously increase even more. This is a good opportunity to go to the very heart of Europe, feel its atmosphere, enjoy the Adriatic coast surrounded by mountains (almost the same as in Italy) and at the same time save a decent amount.

Montenegro is deservedly included in the top ten budget destinations, but the quality of vacation does not suffer at all.

And, of course, Russia, the current situation in the tourism market has forced many to pay attention to undeservedly forgotten domestic resorts.

Fortunately, the list of them has expanded significantly with the annexation of Crimea. And you shouldn’t think that the situation on the Black Sea and Azov coasts has changed little since Soviet times.

Today, modern hotel complexes have grown here, the level of development of infrastructure and service is not much inferior to that of Turkey. And in terms of the number of attractions, our resorts can not only catch up with any country, but can easily surpass it.
