The children's complex "Sea Dunes" is located in the resort village of Shkorpilovtsi, 30 km south of Varna (35 km from the airport), 10 km from the village. Kamchia and 85 km from Burgas airport, which allows you to organize a varied excursion program. Shkorpilovtsi has the longest sand spit in Bulgaria, with a gentle slope into the water; there are no high waves, which is ideal for children's swimming. The Sea Dunes children's complex, with an area of ​​about 10,000 sq.m., is located directly on the seashore next to the sand dunes and can accommodate 725 people.
Every year, before the start of the summer season, a planned reconstruction of the complex takes place + 6 new buildings, a swimming pool (25 x 12.5 m), and sports grounds!
In 2019, the camp will come under the management of a new company, the rooms will be redecorated, the stage will be rebuilt and the concept of the camp will be changed.

The camp territory is divided into 2 areas with common infrastructure:

On the second section (2A) , administrative complex, main buildings (577 seats in total) and sports grounds:

Beach :

One of the most beautiful and longest beaches on the Black Sea coast. Sandy and clean, about 12 km long and up to 100-120 m wide. Sea Dunes Camp is located next to the beach.
The entrance to the sea is gentle, there are no big waves on the sea. The road to the sea runs along a special path through sand dunes.
Lifeguards are on duty on the beach from 09:00 to 18:00.

Traveling around Bulgaria from year to year, along the international Black Sea highway, which connects the southern and northern coasts, I have repeatedly passed a road sign with a strange name - Skorpilovci (10 km). I had never heard of a village with that name, never seen it in any tourist guide, and no one recommended going there. And only in 2012, returning from Varna, when I still had a little time left before returning to my hometown, I finally decided to satisfy my curiosity. At the same time, the rented car almost automatically turned left towards the village with a strange name Škorpilovci, leaving its owner not the slightest hope for changing his decision. And I must admit, I am grateful that by chance I found myself in Shkorpilovtsi, where now I try to come at every convenient moment.
