Landmarks of danang, central vietnam. Attractions of danang, central vietnam Walk through the evening city

The Marble Mountains are located near Da Nang, close to the sea. This natural monument consists of 5 stone hills formed from marble and in ancient times former islands. At the beginning of the 19th century, King Gia Long named these mountains after the names of the five natural elements: Thui Son (Water), Mokshon (Wood), Hoashon (Fire), Kim Son (Metal) and Tho Son (Earth).

The largest of the five sacred holims is Water Mountain, which is home to several pagodas, the most famous of which, Tam Thai Pagoda, was built in 1825. To the left of the pagoda is an observation deck, which offers a beautiful view of the surroundings of Da Nang and all other mountains.

You should move very carefully along the Water Mountain, because many side paths hide new discoveries. There are several caves that were previously used as sanctuaries by Hindu Chams and Vietnamese Buddhists. At a later time, a hospital for the Viet Cong was arranged here. You can go to explore the caves either with a guide, or for a small fee you will be accompanied by local boys.

At the foot of the Marble Mountains are the villages of marble artisans. Here you can buy original souvenirs of the finest work of skilled artisans.

The Dragon Bridge is one of the most popular architectural landmarks in the Vietnamese city of Da Nang. It runs across the Han River and is 666 meters long. The height of the structure reaches 37.5 meters. The bridge was completed in 2012 at a cost of $88 million. The head of the fire-breathing animal is facing the northern part of Da Nang, where numerous hotels, cafes and entertainment centers. Phuc kyen chinese temple

Phuc Kien Temple, sometimes referred to as the Assembly Hall, was built in 1679. The building is a magnificent example of traditional Chinese architecture. The main theme used in the design of the temple is connected with the sea. To the right of the altar is a replica of a sailing junk, and in the courtyard there is an altar dedicated to the founders, who are depicted as six seated figures.

Phuc Khyen Pavilion is the home of the goddess Thien Hau, the patroness of sailors. In addition, the goddess Thuan Phong Nhi, who has the ability to hear ships thousands of miles away from the coast, as well as the goddess Thien Lu Nhanh, who has the gift of seeing ships hundreds of miles away, are honored here.

In the design of the temple, you can see a large number of patterns depicting animals. So, the sculpture of a fish, symbolizing good luck and achievements, is located in the center of the fountain, decorated with mosaics. In addition to fish, the decor of the building also includes images of a dragon, a unicorn, a phoenix, and a turtle. All of them have a sacred meaning, because the dragon symbolizes power and strength, the turtle - longevity, the unicorn - knowledge, and the phoenix is a symbol of nobility.

The Bach Gang River flows in the north of Vietnam, through the province of Quang Ninh and Nguyen Thuy.

This river was the site of three important battles in Vietnamese history: in 938 in the battle for Vietnamese independence, in 981 when the troops of the newly created ruling China Sunn dynasty. But the most famous is the battle on the river Bakh Jang in 1288. Then General Tran Hung Jao used an unusual tactic to drive out the Mongol invaders. In memory of this battle, wooden sticks with sharp metal tips are currently preserved.

China Beach

China Beach is a paradise for surfers and those who want to admire the restless sea and feel the full power of the water element. The swimming season is rather short because most of the year the sea is too rough for swimming.

China Beach gained its fame in part because of the American TV series of the same name - China Beach, which tells about the life of soldiers who served in Vietnam, the developers of the beach decided to keep the name, which increased its popularity among tourists.

But not only the name attracts people to relax on this beach, the well-known white sands, the beautiful area, the nearby Marble Mountains. The rough seas and high waves make the resort extremely popular with surfers. The swimming season on the beach is from May to July, during this period lifeguards work, it is dangerous to swim at other times of the year, even experienced surfers and swimmers may not be able to cope with the natural elements.

The beach is also known for hosting the World Surfing Championship in 1992. In addition, China Beach was included in the list of the most luxurious beaches in the world by Forbes magazine.

Son Dung Cave

Son Dung Cave in Vietnam is considered the largest cave in the world. Its width is about two hundred meters, the depth is about one hundred and fifty meters, and the length is almost nine kilometers, the whole city street with all the buildings on it can easily fit in the cave. Son Dung is twice the size of Dir Cave in Malaysia, formerly the largest known cave.

Son Dung was discovered in 1991 by a Vietnamese farmer named Ho Hanh, locals feared the whistling sounds coming from the cave and named it the Mountain River Cave. Speleologists explored the cave only in 2009. Son Dung was formed about two and a half million years ago when a river stream eroded limestone rocks. In some halls of the cave, the ceiling collapsed, creating huge windows through which sunlight began to penetrate inside, and with it, real jungles grew in the underground halls.

The cave is located on the territory national park Phong Nha Kebang in Quang Binh province near the border with Laos. The distance to the nearest city of Dong Hoi is sixty-five kilometers, ten of which you will have to walk. It will take you two or three days to explore the cave.

The most popular attractions in Da Nang with descriptions and photos for every taste. choose best places to visit the famous places of Da Nang on our website.

Individual and group

The next city in the central part of Vietnam for us was ( Da Nang, Danang). It is the largest among the cities of central Vietnam. After Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Da Nang is the third largest and most important city in Vietnam. As of 2014, Da Nang's population exceeded 1 million.

During the French colonization of Indochina, Da Nang wore beautiful name Turane. From the last article, you know that Da Nang became the heir to Hoi An as the most important port in central Vietnam. Now Da Nang is gaining momentum among amateurs beach holiday.

The city has not yet been spoiled by the attention of tourists, as it is still considered a port.

In Da Nang itself, there are no sights, two and a few. From what is in the city, I can single out da nang museum, Ho Chi Minh Museum And museum of Cham culture. We managed to visit only the latter, but by the time we arrived at the Da Nang Museum, it had already closed.

Da Nang Museum or Local History Museum

Cham Museum in Da Nang located near the Dragon Bridge (near its tail). Among the exhibits of the museum you can see altars, lingas, images of Brahma, Shiva and Vishnu, carved from sandstone. It is in this museum that the largest collection of Cham culture is located. Most of exhibits from the capital of the Tyampov (Chamov) empire - My Son and the Buddhist center of the Chams - Dong Duong, which is located 20 km south of My Son. The ticket price is 40,000 VND (a little less than $2).

Museum of Cham Culture

Modern sights include, of which there are nine in the city. Each bridge has its own uniqueness.

The most unusual of them

  • Dragon Bridge, whose design is made in the form of a giant dragon wrapping around the bridge (see photo above);
  • Chan Ti Li Bridge or Sail, whose height is over 700 meters, and its shape resembles a mountain or an isosceles triangle;
  • Bridge over the Han River(they didn't bother with the name). Every weekend at midnight the bridge is raised for ships and boats;
  • Tuan Phuoc Bridge reminiscent of the Golden Gate in San Francisco.

The city has a very beautiful embankment with a wide sidewalk (compared to Nha Trang and Mui Ne), which is a pleasure to walk along. For me, time always flies unnoticed and you can go a lot without feeling tired. The embankment is decorated with beautiful marble sculptures.

In the evening, the city is transformed. Everything is illuminated and Da Nang sparkles with all the colors of the rainbow. The Vietnamese obviously do not spare funds for lighting. By the way, they do this not only for tourists, but, for the most part, for residents of the city.

Da Nang Square

Da Nang, like Singapore, has its own merlion. Actually this dragon fish. In Asia, koi are very common (you can find them in almost every pond). It is them who are fed from a baby bottle at the Yang Bay waterfalls. There is a legend that every self-respecting carp dreams of becoming a dragon all his life. When he grows up a little and gains wisdom, he gets to the magical river and swims against the current. Underwater sharp stones, shoals, whirlpools and rapids lie in wait for him on this dangerous path. If his spirit is not broken and he overcomes all difficulties, the so-called dragon gates will soon open before him: jumping over them, he will turn into a dragon - big, brave, wise and immortal. At the moment of jumping through the gate, the transformation takes place.

More recently (in 2014) a beautiful amusement parkAsia Park. It is still under construction, but most of its territory is already open to visitors. The Ferris wheel in the park is clearly visible from any bridge.

8 kilometers from the city center (we take the Dragon Bridge as a starting point) are marble mountains where marble is mined to this day and very beautiful sculptures are made.

Outside the city, towards Hue, there is an observation deck - Hai Van Pass, which overlooks the coast, surrounded by mountains. Locals are very fond of this place for romantic evenings.

If you come to Da Nang for a few days, I would highly advise you to visit the mountain. Unfortunately, the weather was not favorable and we did not visit it. Probably, our whole trip began because of this mountain. Once I saw beautiful photos on Instagram and realized that I simply had to be here. First, the mountain can be reached by cable car(one of the 10 longest cable cars in the world). Now the price on the official website of Ba Na Hills is VND 550,000 round trip per adult. Secondly, on the mountain there is a beautiful castle, an amusement park, the oldest wine cellar (working since the 1950s) and, of course, Buddha statues and pagodas. Mount Ba Na was founded in 1919 by the French colonialists and this has left a significant mark to this day. In a word, you should definitely visit the mountain. For myself, I just increased the priority for this attraction on my next trip to Vietnam

Photo from the Internet

If you also have a strong desire to explore the mountain, you will first need to get to the cable car, which is located 20-25 km from Da Nang. I did not find any buses going to the cable car, so I advise you to use a taxi (negotiate for a fixed amount) or on a rented bike. The Vietnamese word for cable car is "cap treo" or "cap cheo". So you can tell taxi drivers what you need at Ba Na Hills Cap Cheo. Then buy a ticket and enjoy the views of the mountains and Da Nang from a bird's eye view.

Ruins of Michon- the farthest attraction of Da Nang, located 50 km from the city. Closest to the ruins is Hoi An. My Son is a temple complex of the Champa empire. It is often compared to the Angkor Wat complex in Cambodia, but the size of the Vietnamese complex is very modest. During the Vietnam-American War, the complex was practically razed to the ground, most of the buildings were badly damaged and now it is a pile of stones overgrown with grass. This was the main reason why we did not go to Michon. And given the fact that on our account the Ponagar towers in Nha Trang, the Poklongorai towers in Phan Rang and the Poshanu Cham towers in Phan Rang / Mui Ne, it was decided not to waste time visiting the ruins in Da Nang.

How to get to Da Nang?

Da Nang has international Airport, which can be reached by direct flight from Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Cambodia and South Korea. As for Vietnamese cities, flights here are operated from, Haiphong and other cities.

Since Vietnam is quite well developed bus service, it will be enough to choose only the carrier. Sleeping buses are very popular in the country, where you ride reclining. In this position, a distance of several hundred kilometers will be much more convenient to overcome than sitting.

You can also get to Da Nang from neighboring cities by bike. For example, Hoi An is only 25-30 km away, and Hue is 100 km from the city.

Choose the most comfortable and convenient type of transportation for you and go ahead to meet new impressions and unforgettable emotions.

Where to stay in Da Nang?

Good prices for hotels and guesthouses in Da Nang are on Booking.com or Agoda.com. You can rent an AirBnB apartment. When renting on AirBnB, you can take advantage of a $21 discount on your first booking.
It is better to compare hotels through the HotelsCombined.com service, it checks prices for a dozen booking systems.

In the following articles, I will talk in more detail about some of the attractions of Da Nang. Subscribe to my page

As of 2009, the population was 887,069. Now the city has reached a million inhabitants. It has an airport, train station and sea port. The textile and food industries are also developed.

According to historical data, the city was founded in 192. It is older than even its capital. Today, the city has not retained evidence of its age and has become the most modern settlement in the country. In fact, the whole history of Da Nang is tightly intertwined with Europe. The Portuguese landed here in 1535. During the war in Da Nang was located military base USA. Modern city not yet so popular among tourists, as it is mainly considered a port city. As such, there are no attractions here, as well as entertainment. The rare vacationers on the street are looked upon as savages. But, despite their mediocrity, the city's beaches have been recognized by Forbs magazine as the best in the world. They really deserve attention. The beaches are clean, lacking a large flow of people and attract vacationers from all over the world. And the Vietnamese themselves are not averse to sunbathing here sometimes.

Content:

Among the sights of the city, one can single out the Cham Museum, the Buddha statue, Mount Bana, the Marble Mountains and several other beautiful places. For young people, the city will seem uninteresting. However, in the evening it completely changes. All cafes and restaurants sparkle with colorful lights and numerous vacationers appear on the streets. Here you can even find some night club However, only local residents go to it so far.

Danang is a constantly developing city. Every day, new hotels, restaurants and other infrastructure aimed at attracting tourists appear here. The city monitors the roads, so they are in perfect condition and almost always devoid of traffic jams. Despite the large number of hotels, almost every day there are more of them. The city is changing right before our eyes. Before you can blink, a new store or restaurant opens nearby.

Attractions Da Nang

I repeat that there are very few popular places in Da Nang. However, what is here deserves attention.

marble mountains

There are mountains between Da Nang and Hoi An. They are formed from five hills of stone origin. Many years ago, the entire surrounding area was in a flooded state, and the hills served as islands created by nature. Each of the hills is represented by one of the five parts of the universe and have their own names. Over time, caves formed inside, next to which ancient people built temples and shrines. Hill Thuishom and today is considered the most popular place for pilgrims. Many caves are so dark that you should take a lantern with you to coordinate inside, and also not to stumble upon bats, of which there are an unmeasured number inside.

You can visit each of the caves for a nominal fee. Near the entrance, you will also be offered to purchase a map of the area and a set of pictures with images of mountain beauties. At the very base of the mountain there are two villages that have become famous for their artisans. One of them, Non Nuoc, is replete with shops with figurines, figurines of deities and ceramic dishes. Any tourist will definitely appreciate it, because you can hardly find such a quantity of ceramics and souvenirs anywhere. The prices in the shops are not the highest, and you can even bargain for a lower price. If you decide to purchase a large sculpture, then right on the spot you can arrange delivery to anywhere in the world.

You can get to the Marble Mountains if you purchase sightseeing tour at any agency in the city. But it's best to go on your own. It is much more interesting, informative and cheaper. And there will be no time limit to study better natural object. It is very easy to get to the marble mountains from Da Nang. You can go by bus, taxi or rent a bike. You will be taken to a fork, where you will immediately see five mountain hills. You can get back the same way, you just need to cross the road.

Cable car and Mount Bana

The mountain is located 40 kilometers from Da Nang. Its height fluctuates at the level of 1478 meters. At the beginning of the 20th century, the French built a resort here. Bana is special in that during the day you can observe all four seasons on it. The clouds on the mountain never rise to the top, but are located approximately in the middle. That is why it is always clear and sunny at the top. Mount Bana is very popular among tourists. They come here to restore their health. To date, an amusement park for children and adults is being built inside Ban. Since this is a resort, it could not have done without a hotel where you can stay without any problems. From here, walks are made to the waterfalls and to the numerous viewing platforms. The hotel has playgrounds for active species sports and a spa center. On resort complex Bana is worth a visit, however, you need to stock up on money to visit all the local attractions.

It is impossible not to mention the cable car that stretches from Ban to Mount Vong Nguyet, where there is a large 24-meter Buddha statue and a number of shrines. Recently, the road was included in the Red Book as the longest and highest in the world. You can visit it during a tour of Mount Bana or on your own by local transport.

Cham Museum

The museum was founded at the beginning of the 20th century. Today it is considered famous place Vietnam. The museum houses the largest collection of Cham sculpture in the world. Most of the exhibits are represented by ancient sanctuaries founded throughout the south of the country. The structure of the museum consists of ten thematic rooms. Apart from historical monuments, here is a collection of old photographs and texts, many of which are unique exhibits dating back to the 5th century.

Only lovers of history and archeology will be interested in the Cham Museum. However, ordinary tourists will also find something to do.

Da Nang Museum

Do not confuse this museum with Chamov. It is a kind of local history museum. For some time it was closed, but in 2011 it resumed its work. In the future, this place may become one of the most popular in the city, but so far few people know about the museum.

The Da Nang Museum is located on three floors of a modern building, which has become a continuation of an old abandoned building of the 19th century. The museum has more than 2,500 different unique exhibits in the form of photographs and luxury goods. There are even halls staging scenes from the life of the indigenous population. The museum will definitely appeal not only to adults, but also to children.

buddha statue

The 67-meter statue is located in national temple Da Nang. This is one of the symbols of the city and one of the largest statues in Vietnam. The monument was founded in the 18th century, but in 1919 it underwent a major reconstruction. The Buddha statue is worth a visit. But you can get to it only as part of a tour. The Buddha is located at the very top of the mountain. That is why, in addition to the majesty of the statue itself, it will be interesting to see the surrounding places from a bird's eye view.

Ruins of Michon

The name of the ruins is often pronounced as Mison, but this is completely wrong. The ruins of My Son are considered the remains of the ancient state of Champa and are listed as a World Heritage Site. On the territory of the ruins there are 17 former temples and tower structures dating back to the 13th century. Michonne is often confused with Angkor Wat. But the ruined buildings are still far from the scale of a Cambodian temple. Despite the huge territory of the attraction, there are very few ancient structures here, and everything that remains looks more like a cluster of stones.

You can get to the My Son ruins from Da Nang or Hoi An along with a guided tour. But, as usual, there is a second way: on your own. By renting a taxi for only $20, you can travel through the ruins all day long. But a trip with an excursion will be much more interesting, as the route sometimes includes a visit to the Cham dance show, cooking lessons and other interesting entertainment.

Weather in Da Nang

There are no restrictions on visiting Da Nang. It is always warm in this city and its environs. But still distinguish the rainy season and drought.

The hottest time in the city is from August to September. The air temperature then is about 34 degrees. In December, the temperature minimum was recorded - 19 degrees. But it's still warm outside.

Danangan is very unusual place. On the one hand, it is a port city, and on the other, it is a dynamically developing resort. It is definitely worth coming here to explore the inner way of life of the Vietnamese.

We have combined Hoi An, Hue and Da Nang in one article, because these cities are located in Central Vietnam and most likely, if you decide, for example, to visit Hue, then Da Nang will also interest you. Also, these cities are usually visited by those who do not have enough beach holidays in Vietnam, who are interested in the history of the country, want to see the architectural monuments preserved from ancient times.

We can say that visiting these cities will be interesting, both as part of a tour, for example from Nha Trang, and for independent travelers.

Hoain is a city that is enough to spend one day, but it is important that you see it in the evening. This cozy city in every sense is very romantic. in the evening everything shines in lanterns, the shapes and colors of which are very different.

Every street and house in Hoi An is of interest, because the city was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. You have a unique opportunity to walk along the streets and roads that are hundreds of years old.

You can visit the beach, which is next to the city, which can be reached by bike. In general, cycling is a popular mode of transport in Hoi An, and the traffic here is more relaxed than in other cities in Vietnam.

Be sure to visit Hoi An Market, not only is it a place where you can buy fruit or taste real Vietnamese food, but it is also a popular place for a stroll. Near the market there are boats on which you can ride on the river.

Our rating of Hoi An is 5/5, but it is advisable to see it not only during the day, but also in the evening, if only for the sake of the romantic atmosphere that will surround you. True, modern music from numerous cafes will also be heard on the street.

Attractions Da Nang

Da Nang - The largest city Vietnam, which is second only to the cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh. This is a city where tourists rarely come, vacationing in Vietnam for travel vouchers rather, here you can meet independent travelers who explore the country and its cities.

Nevertheless, Da Nang has everything to please the tourist. There are numerous cafes and hotels, a beautiful promenade along which locals like to walk in the evening.

The embankment itself is notable for the fact that unobtrusive background music plays here in the evening, along the embankment there are many benches where you can admire beautiful bridges Da Nang. It's really relaxing.

Ba Na Hills

Not far from Da Nang there is a cable car, which until 2010 was listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the longest and highest in the world. Its length is more than 5 thousand meters (5042.62), and the height is 1291.81 meters. It is located on the territory of the Ba Na Hills complex.

If you are staying in Da Nang, this complex is worth a visit. in addition to the cable car, there is an entertainment complex and a hotel, and you can go through a variety of medical procedures and all this against the backdrop of beautiful scenery that will surround you.

View from the cabin in Ba Na

That is, you can safely come here with children, because. they will have something to do. The entertainment complex itself is inferior to the Vinpearl entertainment island in Nha Trang. But, the location makes it unique. You can see it for yourself in the photo.

Hai Van Pass

Another attraction for travelers who do not have enough beach holidays. It is better to get here by rented transport, then you will have a lot of time to enjoy the greatness of the nature of Vietnam, return to the time when there was a war in Vietnam and see the destruction that it brings.

The pass itself, in addition to excellent landscapes and dangerous road includes a small tourist stop where you can buy souvenirs, drink tea.

In our opinion, if you drive a motorcycle well, then it is better to rent it in Da Nang and go to the pass using Google maps.

But, if you are for a more relaxed trip, then you can buy an open-top jeep tour. There will be no less impressions from the trip, but the trip will be safer. Also, a guided tour will be more informative, because you will most likely be told climatic features the Hai Van pass and its significance during the war.

Marble Mountains

Visiting the Marble Mountains is a must, but if you go here as part of a tour, for example from Da Nang or Hoi An, then ask how much time you will have for the tour. At least you need to lay 4 hours, and then, it will be quite a bit.

You can climb the mountains on foot or by elevator, for which you will need to pay a small amount. We would advise you to take the elevator and go down on foot. But even on the descent, you most likely come to rest more than once, because. go quite a long time. Therefore, it may be worth using the elevator on the way back.

A visit to the Marble Mountains is primarily a visit to spiritual places, here you will meet many pilgrims, in addition to tourists there will be many local residents in the caves, for whom this is not an attraction, but Holy place, the temple where they came to pray.

To visit all the temples, if you have such a goal, you can buy a card at the entrance. Also, you can find numerous photos showing the pagodas and caves of the Marble Mountains on the Internet.

How to get there

Attractions Hue

Hue (or Hue) is located between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, so it is often overlooked by tourists who prefer a beach holiday in South Vietnam. However, if you are interested in seeing as many sights of Vietnam as possible, then there are more than enough of them in Hue.

The city itself is quite small and therefore even more comfortable. Some attractions are located right in the city center, some will need to be reached by taxi, as part of an excursion or by rented transport.

Hue Imperial Citadel

This is a must-see attraction in Hue, which is located in the heart of the city. Allocate about 4 hours to visit the citadel, take water with you, a hat from the heat.

The citadel is sometimes called a city within a city, and during a walk here you can see this more than once. Numerous palaces and halls in which the emperor and his servants lived, some of the complexes have been preserved in good condition, but most of the buildings are still under reconstruction.

Walking here should be enjoyable, but If you walk around the territory of the complex, then most likely you will get very tired. At the entrance you will be given a map of the complex, but if you want to learn more about the history of this place, it is advisable to come here with a guide or find information in advance on the Internet.

Opening hours 6.30 – 17.00

How to get there

Just for the sake of the citadel, it might not be worth coming to Hue, but if you are exploring Vietnam by visiting its cities, then Hue and the citadel are more than worth a visit.

Tombs of the Hue emperors

Another attraction of Hue are the tombs of the emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty (Nguyen). There are several of them and each of them is a whole architectural complex, including beautiful parks, ponds, buildings in which some of the emperors worked during their lifetime.

One of the most beautiful and largest is considered Emperor Ming Mang's tomb(Tomb of Minh Mang). Indeed, walking in the park does not leave a feeling of peace and tranquility. The emperor himself had 150 children, but this is not the only thing he is remembered for.

How to get there

It is better to combine a trip here with a visit to other tombs, and to make it more interesting, it is better to study the history of each tomb in advance or buy a guided tour.

(Tomb of Tu Duc), also surrounded by a beautiful park, here you can take a leisurely walk, look at the buildings that are located on the territory of the tomb.

How to get there

By the way, the emperor himself was buried elsewhere. Perhaps this is due to the fact that Ty Duc led a policy that was not very popular with the population. History is silent about the place of the new burial and the reasons.

As part of the tour of the tombs of the emperors of Vietnam, worth a visit tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh(Khai Dinh). Its peculiarity is the style of architecture that distinguishes it from other tombs, as well as the location of the tomb on a hill, so that you will have a beautiful view.

How to get there

A general recommendation for visiting the tombs on your own. In one day it is quite possible to see all the tombs described in the article, less likely you will not have time or get very tired. Don't forget about the opening hours of the tombs, in summer from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm and in winter from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, the entrance fee is approximately ~ 80,000 VND, there is parking for bikes almost everywhere.

You also need to consider on the map where the tombs are located and make a route so that you do not make extra circles. The tombs are located quite well, so you can visit them in turn. It will be much more interesting if you find information about each emperor and his tomb in advance.

The Marble Mountains is the common name for five individual limestone and marble rock formations. They are located just a few kilometers from Da Nang.
