We vacationed with children in December 2018, we really liked everything, the hotel and food (you definitely won’t go hungry!), the children’s pool was heated in the evening (you can’t get the kids out), adults went to fish peeling in the evenings (absolutely free at the main entrance, there is a pool ), in general we recommend it to everyone!

The hotel deserves 2 stars, the old rooms. Breakfast buffet for 4 points. The area is beautiful, there is a lot of green palm trees. The hotel is a little far from the city. In China everything is expensive, no one understands everything in English at random. You can go once to get an idea.

Hi all. I vacationed at the Palm Hotel with my husband in April of this year. The area is gorgeous. A beautiful hotel with fish to feed! There are two swimming pools - large and clean. The beach is across the road from the bungalow. Everything is very close and pleasant. The sea, however, is slightly cool. We've seen it warmer too. But not critical. The beach is clean, spacious and beautiful. Not many people. The rooms are cozy, there was everything you needed. The main advantage of the hotel, in my opinion, is the dinners. Be sure to take it. We have been to many places, and we have seen the Maldives and Sri Lanka, but I have never seen such abundance anywhere. This mainly concerns seafood - shrimp, squid, oysters, crabs, all kinds of fish. Everything is very tasty and in abundance. By the way, a nice surprising bonus from the hotel - free beer at dinner. And other drinks too. There is a shop next to the hotel where you can buy snacks and drinks. Everything is very inexpensive.

We are vacationing in China, in Sanya, for the third time. This time we chose the Palm Beach Hotel. We chose this hotel based on a combination of price, location of the hotel and positive reviews on various sites. We liked the hotel. The hotel area is medium in size, but quite cozy. Everything is nearby, regardless of the type of accommodation. We took a family room. We got a room on the third floor, with an excellent and spacious balcony-terrace overlooking the pool and palm trees, which suited us perfectly. The hotel has two swimming pools. One is shallow, the other is deep. The water doesn't smell like chlorine. The pool lighting was on until 21.00, and we calmly swam after 18.00, when no one was there. The hotel beach is wonderful, there were plenty of sun loungers. There is a volleyball net. I really liked the breakfasts. Nothing too original, but there was always porridge, Vietnamese soup, eggs, fruit and sandwich sets. There were also hot dishes. Always three types of fresh juices and excellent Vietnamese coffee! Service at the hotel is up to standard. Rooms are cleaned every day. The only thing for which I give the hotel an 8 rating is the absence of any bar or cafe on site. For those who do not expect VIP service and are not ready to overpay for additional service. For those who want to take a break from the bustle of the city, sunbathe, swim and just sleep on a sunbed by the sea. For those who love to eat delicious food and are ready for... interesting excursions. Off to Vietnam. In Mui Ne. And to the Swiss Hotel! I wish everyone a great holiday!

I was on vacation with my wife at the beginning of September 2014. I arrived at lunchtime and were checked in quickly. The area is very, very clean. We spent a little over a week at this hotel. We went on almost all the excursions. There are no complaints about feeding. The rooms are quite tolerable, the windows overlook the internal garden. In general, if you love excursions and do not intend to lie on the beach or near the pool for days, then this hotel is for you! I gave the service and maintenance at the hotel a 9 because there were no problems with the waiters and cleaning ladies. The hotel is on the second line, walk 5-10 minutes. You can get there on a free blue horse! The beach itself is clean and cleaned frequently. We are happy with our vacation. Thanks to all!

Minuses: They reluctantly clean the beach. The sea is muddy because of the sand.Dead fish in the sea after a storm.Few entertainment options.

Pros: Cozy bungalows with direct access to the beach.Pools with exotic fish.Salons of alternative medicine.Everything in local eateries is cheap and tasty. The staff are great and try to create a comfortable atmosphere for relaxation.

Minuses: Everything in a Chinese restaurant is very spicy. The city center is noisy and dirty. The evenings are cool due to the local climate.

We vacationed at the end of March

We rested at the end of March. We checked in quickly, left a deposit of 600 yuan for 8 days at the reception, and this money was returned upon check-out. We had a double room, we were placed in a 3-storey villa, which went directly to the pool. The pool is clean, I myself saw how it was cleaned every night. IN the rooms were cleaned every day. Regarding food, only breakfast was included in the price of the tour; at breakfast we ate our fill, but some food has a specific taste. There were fruits, pastries, vegetables, and meat, there was enough of everything. Only non-natural juices: (The hotel area was cleaned up; upon request, they brought a knife to our room for free (to peel fruit), an iron, etc. We met local guides, went on excursions only with them, they are much cheaper! They will help and about dinner, they will tell you which restaurant you can go to. You can also buy a SIM card from them for 20 yuan. You can have dinner for two for 60 yuan or 300... the choice is yours. On average, we spent 120 for dinner for two -150 yuan! If you try all sorts of exotic dishes, then count on 300-400 yuan... And it’s not a fact that you will like all this. I advise you to try fruit ice cream, it costs 10-15 yuan, they will make a huge ice cream out of any fruit, very tasty! You can try it on the street, if you go in a straight line from the main building downwards, street trading begins there after 8 pm. The beer there is cheap (on average 4-5 yuan for 0.6 l)! We tried pineapple beer, coffee beer beer is very tasty! You have to bargain everywhere! The prices are unreal! Usually the real price is 3-4 times less. Their mangoes are very tasty! I don’t recommend buying anything on free excursions to a snake farm, a shark farm, or a pearl factory; everything can be bought much cheaper! The beach is 3-5 minutes away, there are free sun loungers on the beach. Buses No. 25 and 26 stopped near our hotel, which took us to the Edge of the Sky Park and to the Center of Buddhism. If you go in the opposite direction, you can get to Dadonghai and Yalungwei bays and to the center of Sanya, as well as to Pedestrian Street (where shopping centers and souvenir rows). If you have any questions, write, I will answer everyone, my e-mail: [email protected]. On my page you can see photos from Hainan! Regarding the hotel, I can say one thing (if you are in doubt), the hotel is 4 stars and for the prices it offers, it is completely justified. But, if you are used to “comfort”, then... look better, but I think that many fly there not for the comfort in the room, but for good impressions, new sensations and great memories, so the choice is yours!

Had a great time

We had a great time. I really liked it. The guides are very good, responsive, it was a pleasure to communicate with them. I really liked the excursions, they were interesting. We went to a Buddhist park, I really liked it there. I really liked the hotel. The hotel is well located. The only negative about Chinese hotels There is no such food system as all inclusive, they have what is called breakfast in bed. Here's a small minus. The hotel does not have enough entertainment or animation of any kind. It is located well, on the road, you can take a transport at any time and get to the center. Everything is very convenient. The food is varied and well fed. Access to the sea is convenient. The beaches are good and clean.

April 2011

April 2011 In my humble opinion, the hotel deserves 3*. The hotel has not been updated for a long time (towels are faded, full of holes, dishes are broken). - Location: a bit far from Sanya (20-30 minutes by taxi, costs 30 yuan, i.e. 150 rubles one way). But you will have to travel, because... problems with food. In a hotel expensive, little variety, and besides, you don’t want to eat it on dirty tablecloths, sorry. We ate at the Russian restaurant "Marina" at the hotel (either by taxi for 10 yuan, or by free bus from the "Marina" itself at 6-7-8 hours, and you can walk back along the shore). - Pegasus guides: terrible, they don’t know anything, they don’t know and don’t want to know. Although they receive salary from our vouchers. The hotel lady Evgeniya answered all our questions: “Well, how do I know, why are you asking about food/shopping/etc.” In general, about shopping in the neighboring Yalong Bay (there is a “Contraband” store there, where branded items from Hong Kong affordable prices can be purchased) we found out on the plane back. - Nature: tropics, palm trees, sand, clean sea, always warm. - Rooms: shabby. For the broken lampshade I had to pay 200 yuan, i.e. 1000 rub. - Staff: they barely clean in the morning. We have breakfast on dirty tablecloths. We get the cutlery and napkins ourselves. - Funny: in the evening at the hotel buffet they offer fried bread in different forms as dessert. It's a shame and that's all. Tea is only in bags (and this is in the homeland of tea!). - Airplane: the tour operator Pegasus took us on a Boeing, clearly not intended for such long-distance transportation(refueling in Pakistan, wait 2 hours, plus people like a herring in a barrel, round trip flight delay for 6 and 14 hours respectively). - Conclusions: China is not worth the money. But exotic, But nature, But still China. - One more thing: take very expensive excursions from Pegasus in advance from local Russian-speaking Chinese. - They will scare you with a group visa and only everywhere with Pegasus, with Pegasus. Don't believe it. - At a glance and in fact free excursion from Pegasus for 20 dollars (this is a paid lunch only) we were fed in a shameful restaurant. - Choose for yourself, but keep in mind that the hotel is 3*, and the Pegasus service is 3*.

In order: The drive from Phoenix airport took about half an hour. But for some reason our flight was from Haikou, and it took us 5 hours to get there!!! The drive from Phoenix airport took about half an hour.
But for some reason our flight was from Haikou, and it took us 5 hours to get there!!!

We arrived at night and were given numbers to everyone. They warned that if there was something wrong with the number, they would have to wait until morning and decide on moving to another one. You must leave a deposit of 100 cu. When we asked that our group be accommodated nearby (only 2 rooms), we were accommodated in absolutely opposite ones, although the hotel was still half empty at that time.

We paid for a room for three, but in the end it was a double room where they simply brought a folding bed. The room smelled horribly of dampness and sewage. The door and window did not close, the Internet did not work, the toilet worked every now and then. There was no table or sun loungers on the terrace. Renovations have probably never been done since the hotel opened.
The next day we asked to be moved, again asked to be close to friends, to which the Chinese woman at the reception freaked out wildly, snorted and said that the rooms were all occupied, but we saw how many people there really were... In the end we moved to another room . As soon as you walk in, you immediately feel a terrible smoky smell. And there was also a type of sofa, so it generally stank of urine, just like the decorations on the bed! We just put it all together and didn’t touch it the entire vacation.

The cleaning in our room was 3+. Every day they gave out water, changed the towels in the bathroom (which, by the way, were already very tired), washed the floors (except under the bed), and gave out almost all the things like shampoos, soap, toothbrushes... Beach towels were never changed in 10 days , and the bed linen was never changed.

The territory is large, beautiful palm trees, ficus trees, grass, bridges, a small lake. But on the very first day, when we were sitting by the pool late in the evening, we saw a rat! Not the most pleasant first impression. But then we met them often...

Pool. For some reason, the hotel advises swimming only there, and not swimming in the sea) So the hotel has 2 swimming pools, near the main building where the reception is, and near the other buildings, closer to the sea.
On the very first evening we saw how wonderful it is to clean.... they just throw bleach in there with huge ladles. There is no water purification system. There is green mud at the bottom.
In the second pool the picture is even cooler; even small fish swim in the children's pool! and of course there is also dirty water and a dirty green-brown bottom.

The beach is endless! Nice sand, cool sea with waves. By the way, the waves are every day, sometimes strong, sometimes a little weaker. As the guides said, swimming is strictly until 18.00, then the police will fine you. There are very few sunbeds and umbrellas. There is always a red flag hanging on the beach and a guard/lifeguard stationed there. So, if you went swimming and left your bags, the guard absolutely calmly comes up to your bag, opens it, opens it, looks at it, and calls you to the shore with a whistle if you have something valuable in your bag! He may even call a police officer to talk to you! Well, yes, midges bite on the beach.

Breakfasts. We took one meal a day.
Every day the same food. In the first days it even seemed delicious... on the 10th day I didn’t even want to look at it all.
Scrambled eggs, noodles, rice, chicken or fish (not tasty at all), rice milk porridge, inedible sausages or bacon, a couple of types of cereal, yogurt. Vegetables include radishes, carrots, cucumbers, onions and very rarely tomatoes. Fruits include bananas, tasteless green guavas, green melons and almost normal watermelons. For taking food out, the fine is 100 euros. If you come with a large bag, you must leave it in front of the restaurant entrance or they will put it in a hotel bag and attach a clip.

In theory, Wi-Fi should be in every room, but this is not the case. Sometimes during the day you have it, in the evening it’s gone, and you have to call a repairman to fix it, but he doesn’t come very soon. The next day or every other day. We had to ask for this 4 times. By the way, all rooms have the same Wi-Fi password, so this sometimes helped out.

In general, something like this. I definitely wouldn’t return to this hotel, so I don’t recommend it to you either.
