Yalong Bay Rainforest located on a hill, not far from Yalong Bay. From one interesting site to another you travel on a small open bus. Moreover, the road is a serpentine road, going up and down. The speed of travel, the driving style of local drivers, sharp turns with steep cliffs on the sides, as well as oncoming buses from nowhere will not leave you indifferent and will make the trip very memorable.
Get ready for the unexpected: people from a bus that suddenly jumps out to meet you will try to scare you with a loud choral scream. If you have the desire and strength, you can answer them in kind.

First stop - Orchid Alley.
The path leads into the depths of the tropical forest, makes a loop along it and again comes out onto the road. Along the way, you can throw a coin for luck into the pond of an ancient turtle, admire orchids, learn a lot of interesting things about the life of ostriches, and even ride one of them (for a fee, of course). You can’t do without numerous souvenirs, fruit stalls and traditional food.

Everyone gets in line and goes out onto the bridge one after another. It is best to hold on to the handrails with both hands, as if there are a lot of people, the bridge will sway a lot. You go out into the middle, stop and survey the surrounding beauties: in the distance the turquoise sea of Yalong Bay, nearby on the hills there are small houses of an elite hotel, and under your feet green trees, flowers and... hats, all colors and styles. Here, in the open space, a strong wind blows, trying to leave you without a headdress. Along the stone steps, through vines and bushes, you rise even higher. Along the way there are several observation platforms where you can rest and plan your further route.

The journey through the tropical forest ends at the very top of the hill. Original buildings, platforms connected by bridges, small fountains surround the central gazebo. Having climbed to its upper tier, you find that you rise above the rest of the landscape. At the foot of the gazebo against the backdrop of the sea stands dragon statue- the symbol of Yalong Bay. Having enjoyed beautiful scenery, everyone, already pretty tired, but happy, gets back on the bus, which takes you to the exit with the breeze.

Tropical Paradise Park is located in the southeastern part of Hainan Island, approximately 25-30 km from Sanya. You can get to the park as part of an excursion group, by taxi, by city buses No. 15 or 24, and by tourist bus with elephants.
This is a very large ecologically clean park, which occupies an area of 1506 hectares. The park was opened recently in 2012, but it has already won the sympathy of tourists for its pristine beauty. The park is divided into several thematic zones, and it is better to come here in the morning, and since the park is large and interesting, expect to stay here all day. The most convenient way to travel around the park is by shuttle bus.
The first stop is in the Orchid Valley. Here you can see a huge number of these amazing flowers that grow right in the forest, enjoy picturesque Chinese-style landscapes, and have the opportunity to pet and take pictures with antelopes, parrots and peacocks. Also in the Orchid Valley there is a “Snake House”, where you can watch snakes and shows with them. If you want to admire the beautiful views of the park, go up to the observation deck. The climb is quite difficult, you will need to overcome about 1000 steps, and you can go back down by cable car.
After the Orchid Valley there will be a stop at the Dragon Bridge or, as it is romantically called, the Lovers' Bridge. If you are not afraid of heights, but love thrills, then be sure to visit the bridge and walk along it. This place is very picturesque, the bridge is located between the two banks of the park and its length is 168 meters. The bridge is suspended, it can wobble a lot and it is better to hold on to the handrails with both hands. Another caution: before going onto the bridge, take off your hats or the wind will blow them away.
Further on the top of the mountain is theme park"Dragon World" Here you will find various dragon statues, Chinese-style pavilions, the Hainan Island Photography Museum, the Phoenix Gate and the Buddha Stone. The observation decks here offer stunning views of the entire Yalong Bay.
On the territory of the park there is unique hotel"Bird's Nest" with elements of rustic luxury. There are 142 villas in a distinctive tropical style. From a distance, everything really looks like a nest and the numbers have the names of birds: the nest of a peacock, a crow or an eagle. This hotel looks very picturesque and romantic.
The park area is large, you can get tired, you can relax on observation platforms, special benches, in restaurants, cafes and tea houses, of which there are many in the park. In restaurants, tourists are offered a good buffet, and in cafes and teahouses you can have a great snack and drink tea.
The park is open daily from 7:30 to 17:30; it’s better to come in the morning before it’s too hot. Dress up comfortable shoes, bring water, sunglasses and hats. This place is perfect for a romantic walk, but for children and the elderly it will be tiring. Entrance to the park costs 120 yuan, which includes a walk through the park and rides in eco-mobiles. Everything else is for an additional fee. Walk along the Lovers' Bridge for 20 yuan, and cable car 100 yuan.
More than 1,500 hectares await visitors tropical forests, located between the sea and mountains. Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park is divided into several thematic zones, each of which has its own landscape and vegetation.
Visitors to Hainan's evergreen forests will be able to walk along the 160-meter suspension bridge(Lovers' Bridge), admire the Orchid Valley, see the Buddha Stone, visit the Dragon Square and climb to the very top of the mountain (450 meters), enjoy the magnificent views of the coast of Hainan Island. Some entertainment in the park is paid separately (from 20 to 100 yuan), so when going on an excursion, take extra money.
It is worth warning you right away that the territory of the park is large and only well-physically prepared tourists can fully explore it. Those who do not fall into this group will be able to move around some places in the park not only on foot, but also on excursion buses and special eco-cars, but in this case the route will be much shorter.
If you get tired and hungry, there are several restaurants and cafes in the park where you can eat and relax while enjoying the magnificent views.
