• if the marriage took place in another country, then this document must have a legalization mark;
• if the marriage is concluded on the territory of the Russian Federation, then the foreign citizen must have a document indicating that this person is not married abroad. The validity of this certificate is 3 months, after which it must be issued again.
• if the marriage was performed according to a religious rite or a kind of ritual, bypassing the registration in the registry office, then such a marriage has no legal grounds to be considered valid on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Deadline for obtaining RVP

The timing of obtaining a TRP can also be different, as a rule, this procedure takes from two to six months. Accordingly, if the applicant who wants to issue a TRP from a visa-free country - a period of 2 months, and if the applicant is from a visa country - then up to 6 months.
