The new Dynamo stadium in the VTB Arena Park complex: photos, videos, opening. "VTB Arena - Central Stadium" Dynamo Visitor areas

In Russia, stadiums are one of the main long-term construction projects. Compared to other arenas, Dynamo is not the worst option. The old stadium in Petrovsky Park closed for reconstruction almost exactly 9 years ago. Since then, the reconstruction format, the developer, and the project itself have changed. The planned capacity was either increased for the 2018 World Cup or reduced when the arena was not included in FIFA's final bid.

In general, a lot was happening around the construction site, so the very news that it is nearing completion cannot but rejoice. Since the start of active work at the arena, a specific opening date has been announced year after year - October 22, 2017, Lev Yashin’s birthday. Even this year, no one has officially renounced it. Dynamo's opponents in the opening match were matched with one European giant, then another.

As a result, we limited ourselves to a rather intimate event (safety standards do not allow more - this is still an active sports ground) event, which can appropriately be called the presentation of the bowl of the new stadium. The readiness there is such that, if desired, one could play a match. Tribunes with chairs, lawn, goals - everything is in place. The only mandatory attributes missing are a scoreboard and benches.

However, the VTB Arena Park complex is not only a football stadium, but also a small sports arena, where hockey Dynamo and basketball CSKA will play, and a shopping and entertainment center. Everything must be submitted at once, so you will have to wait. And the finishing of the facades and dome still needs to be done.

In general, the current deadlines are as follows: in April 2018 - commissioning of the facility and the first test events, both for the anniversary of the Dynamo society and non-sports, in June - the first official match with the participation of the Russian national team, in July - moving here Moscow Dynamo. On June 5, the national team can play here with Italy - if the squadra makes it to the World Cup. And this will be the team’s last match before the home World Cup. Member of the board of trustees of the Dynamo society Sergey Stepashin He also announced the possibility of holding some kind of opening of the World Cup in the arena.

Today we have an intermediate checkpoint, by Yashin’s birthday we have completely completed the main work at the football stadium, only the scoreboard and finishing of the boxes remain,” stated the senior vice president of VTB Bank, head of the VTB Arena Park project. Andrey Peregudov.

- What is the final cost of the project?
- We have not gone beyond the standards for this level of stadiums: the cost of one seat in a football arena is within 5 thousand euros and 10 thousand euros for a seat in a universal sports complex. Plus we also have a shopping and entertainment center, which should also be completed in the spring. This is all one stage of construction, so the entire complex should be completed in the spring, so that next season not only football Dynamo, but also hockey and basketball CSKA will play here.

- Is the capacity of 26,700 spectators sufficient for such a stadium?
- This is much more than the average attendance of the RFPL. We hope that the arena will be well filled and that the World Cup will give impetus to the growth of spectator interest. As does the factor of a new stadium for fans.

Veterans of the club, current players and students of the club’s academy took part in the ceremonial events at Dynamo. The symbolic first blow to the ball in the new arena was struck three times: first by the veteran Valery Urin, the last of those who played with Yashin, then Dynamo's top scorer in recent seasons, and then 11 young players from the blue and white school.

Panchenko conceded the right to strike the first blow. Everyone was afraid for Kirill’s leg, because he had only recently undergone surgery on the crosses. But the forward assured: everything is fine.

It wasn’t difficult for me, my leg doesn’t hurt, everything is fine. It is very honorable to be the first to strike on such a day and at such a legendary stadium. Today is Lev Yashin's birthday, and this is a special day. Yashin is a true legend. There were questions about who to beat - me or Anton Shunin. But Anton is our goalkeeper, it’s somehow wrong for him to shoot into his own goal. And my job is to score goals. That's why I hit, Anton gave in to me.

That evening Shunin probably took about a hundred selfies with all the guests of the ceremony. Fans, veterans, journalists - everyone wanted to express their admiration for yesterday's crazy saves in the match with Rubin. Yashin would be pleased with his successor. By the way, Shunin is the only one in Dynamo who remembers the last match at the old stadium in 2008.

Then, of course, I didn’t expect that everything would drag on for almost 10 years,” the Dynamo captain told the Championship. “But now we don’t have long to wait.” Everything is almost ready - I would be ready to play here. I just want to go see the locker rooms (laughs). Well, we'll wait until next year to start playing here. My father is a long-time Dynamo fan, he will be happy to come here next season and see me, hopefully, play in the new stadium. It will be a special moment for me.

Well, the opening match on Yashin’s birthday did not take place. But there is no doubt that the greatest and most humble goalkeeper in the history of football would not be at all upset that the games in the new arena will start on another day. After all, the upcoming 95th anniversary of Dynamo and the 90th anniversary of the stadium in 2018 are also beautiful dates.

Moscow has many unique sports and entertainment facilities. One of them is the CSKA ARENA “VTB Ice Palace” with a stadium and its official website, located in the very center of the “Park of Legends” sports and entertainment district.

Let's find out more about the work of the sports complex.

Purpose of CSKA ARENA

Scheme of the sports complex

The sports complex amazes guests with its scale. The total area of the building is 70,000 square meters.

There are three ice arenas under one roof:

  • large arena;
  • small;
  • training.

In addition to three arenas, the layout of the VTB Ice Palace hall includes the following leisure and entertainment facilities:

  • hockey museum;
  • water sports complex;
  • business center;
  • Walk of Fame of Russian Hockey Stars;
  • hotel;
  • cafe;
  • restaurant;
  • children's room;
  • lost and found.

Arena capacity

The three grounds of the palace can accommodate more than 16,000 spectators at a time.

The total capacity of the three arenas of the VTB Ice Palace is 16,500 seats. Moreover, two of them can be transformed into venues for concerts, shows, and competitions in various sports within 12 hours, increasing the number of seats.

  1. The large arena has a capacity of 12,500 seats, after the transformation their number increases to 14,000.
  2. The small arena of the VTB Palace can accommodate 3,500 spectators, and with the installation of a non-slip coating - 5,000.
  3. Training room – capacity up to 500 people, intended for training of the Dynamo hockey club.

The sports complex is designed in such a way that events can take place simultaneously in all arenas without interfering with each other.

Visitor areas

The main purpose of the Ice Palace is sports in all its forms, but special attention is paid to visitors. The entire complex is focused on creating comfort and convenience for those who come to events, concerts, museum visits, and competitions.

Main areas intended for visitors:

  1. Parking. The VTB Ice Palace has significant parking resources. Guests, visitors, as well as employees of the sports complex have the opportunity to securely and conveniently place their vehicle. At the same time, the administration of the complex ensures uninterrupted operation of security, video recording and fire extinguishing.
  2. Children's room. Visitors who come with small children can leave them in a specially equipped room. Children will be greeted by professional animators, interactive games, and bright toys. The room starts working 1.5 hours before the start of the event, and ends an hour after.
  3. Nutrition. There are a huge number of fast-food outlets, cafes, and restaurants on the territory of the sports complex. Each visitor will find food to suit his taste and budget.

VIP boxes

Those who prefer comfort, privacy and a high level of service are provided with VIP boxes. These places are rightfully considered the best in the entire VTB Ice Palace for a number of good reasons:

  • favorable location above the ice, giving a good view from any point;
  • cozy space – from 12 to 34 people;
  • separate entrance;
  • restaurant service.

Exactly a year ago, on October 22, 2017, a new field was inaugurated at the Dynamo stadium, which had been reconstructed since 2008. The stadium has not yet been put into operation. There is no mass psychosis about this.

The last time FC Dynamo became the champion was 42 years ago; in 2016, Dynamo dropped out of the RFPL for a year, it is included in.

In October 2016, Senior Vice President of VTB Bank, head of the VTB Arena Park project (which includes the Dynamo stadium) Andrey Peregudov said that the entire VTB Arena Park project costs $1.5 billion (95 billion rubles in October 2016). “I think this amount is fair. VTB Bank has approved the financial model and regularly updates it. The project should definitely pay off,” added the TASS interlocutor.

Previously, the stadium was supposed to be completed by the summer, and the first match in the new arena was supposed to take place between the Russian and Turkish national teams on June 5.

“However, a number of difficulties arose and the deadlines moved a little,” the deputy mayor emphasized.

“According to the investor’s plans, all work on the Dynamo stadium will be completed by the end of the year. Another world-class sports facility will open in the capital,” noted M. Khusnullin.

Let us remind you that in February of this year, the installation of copies of historical bas-reliefs by sculptor Sergei Merkurov on the facades of the reconstructed Dynamo stadium was completed.

Under the roof of the renovated Dynamo stadium there will be an open football arena and a small multifunctional arena for holding competitions in hockey, basketball and other sports. The total capacity of the football stadium will be 26 thousand seats. Under the stadium there is a parking lot for more than 700 cars, a shopping center, as well as premises for the Dynamo museum and technical services.

« Moscow has become the football capital of the world. Because, firstly, during the reconstruction we were able to completely preserve the appearance of the Luzhniki stadium and at the same time make it modern,” TASS quotes Khusnullin as saying.

Football capital of the world

“83.5 billion rubles will be spent on the reconstruction of the entire Luzhniki Olympic complex” - Chief Architect of Moscow Sergei Kuznetsov.

The 45,000-seat Spartak stadium (Otkritie Arena), which does not have a retractable roof or a roll-out field, took 7 years to build. In 2017, the state spent 450 billion rubles to save FC Otkritie.

The state company Vnesheconombank spent 9 years building the 30,000-seat VEB Arena stadium for. It is 2.3 times smaller in capacity than the St. Petersburg Stadium, costs more than 23 billion rubles, has no retractable roof or roll-out pitch, and average occupancy is 50%.

The stadium for the unpopular Lokomotiv club (RZD Arena) was built by the state company RZD. With an average occupancy rate of 47%, it brings only losses, which are paid by Russian Railways.

Of the five Moscow stadiums, only Otkritie Arena is regularly filled to more than half - 65%, CSKA Stadium - 50%, Lokomotiv Stadium - 47%, Dynamo - 38%. On average, less than 5 matches take place at Luzhniki per year. In total, only 0.4% of the entire population of Moscow comes to watch the games of all four Moscow teams. The average attendance at stadiums in Russia is 2.5% of the city’s total population.

News

Dynamo Stadium is the cradle of not only domestic football and Russian hockey, but also ice hockey - it was here that one of the first platforms for playing Canadian hockey was built and matches of the first USSR Championship 1946 were held, in which Dynamo won under the leadership of the player coach Arkady Chernyshev. It is curious that the rules of the game of Canadian hockey were told to Chernyshev by one of the German prisoners of war, who himself went to the ice rink before the war, and after the war worked on the territory of the Dynamo stadium along with dozens of other prisoners of war.

In the first months of the war, the stadium became a real military facility, turning into a base for the formation and training of OMSBON units - the Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade for Special Purpose - operating behind enemy lines.

In 1955, a historic match between the USSR and Germany was played at Dynamo, in which Soviet football players beat the reigning world champions 3:2.

Several matches of the 1957 World Hockey Championship were played at Dynamo - this was the last time in the history of world championships when matches were played on natural ice.

"VTB Arena - Central Dynamo Stadium named after Lev Yashin"

The complex unites two arenas under one roof: Central Stadium "Dynamo" named after. Lev Yashin (football) and VTB Arena named after. A. I. Chernysheva (hockey). The total area of the complex is about 210 thousand square meters. m.

Today the Central Stadium "Dynamo" named after. Lev Yashin is an open-air football stadium, the spectator seats of which are protected by a canopy of roofs. The capacity of the arena during a football match is 26,121 people, during a concert - 33,000 people.

VTB Arena named after. A.I. Chernysheva is an indoor multifunctional venue, which is designed to host hockey and basketball matches, business and concert and entertainment events of any level of complexity. The capacity of the small arena is up to 14,000 spectators, depending on the configuration of the site during the event. Changing the site space takes only a few hours. VTB Arena includes 44 VIP boxes for 6-11 people and 1 VVIP box for 60 people.

The complex has underground parking for 719 cars, including 23 parking spaces for people with limited mobility. On the 6th floor of the complex there is a premium view restaurant with 380 seats, which allows you to watch events in both arenas. The Arena Plaza shopping center is located on the ground floor of the building.

Scheme of activities in the arena

The central stadium "Dynamo" from the first day of its foundation has been the sports Mecca of our state. Reviving the grandeur of the stadium, returning it to its former glory and thousands of regular spectators are the top priorities of the project.

The central stadium "Dynamo", part of the general ensemble "VTB Arena Park", will unite two objects under one roof: a small and a large sports arena, as well as a leisure and entertainment complex designed for interesting pastime before or after sporting events. The new complex will become a place where entertainment is the main criterion of what is happening.

In 2010, the management of the VTB Arena Park project invited the leading specialized bureau Manica Architecture, represented by its founder and renowned architect David Manica, for a detailed study of the project concept in order to improve the functionality of the structure, as well as ensure the manufacturability of its construction, in order to ultimately obtain a unique our country's sports and entertainment complex. Among the projects carried out by Manica Architecture are such interesting structures as a stadium in the Qatari capital Doha, the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, the Olympic basketball hall in Beijing and the stunning O2 Arena in London.

This is how Manika himself evaluates the work done: VTB Arena Park is one of the most interesting and exciting projects that I have ever worked on. If you look at the structures and constructed buildings that have already been created around the world, you will not find a single object exactly similar to this one. Combining a large sports stadium and a multi-use arena that floats above the shopping and entertainment center and the preserved historic stadium wall, this project undoubtedly sets a new benchmark for similar development projects around the world. “VTB Arena Park will be a place that city residents and visitors to the capital will be able to enjoy throughout the year and for many decades.” During construction, the main contractor changed, but despite this, work did not stop for a single day.

The project uses revolutionary ideas, new materials and technologies. On the southern façade, facing Leningradsky Prospekt and the Dynamo metro station, there will be a huge glass wall with LED strips built into it, allowing the glass to turn into a giant screen at night.

The total capacity of the Dynamo Central Stadium will be 25,716 seats, and the small sports arena, being built under the same roof as the football arena, has 3 configurations: hockey, basketball and concert. Capacity of the multifunctional arena from 12 273 human, but can transform depending on the event in a matter of hours. The maximum capacity is 14 000 seats. In terms of technical equipment, this will be the most modern concert venue in Moscow. The project working group studied all the known technical “riders” of modern world shows, which today are difficult to implement in the conditions of Moscow stadiums, and, taking into account the studied international experience, formulated the corresponding technical requirements for the reconstruction of the stadium.

The area of the leisure and entertainment complex is 30 thousand m2

There is also a parking lot for 733 cars under the sports and entertainment complex.

The official opening of the Central Stadium "Dynamo", which on July 17, 2015 was named after Lev Ivanovich Yashin, the best goalkeeper in the world of the twentieth century according to FIFA, took place on May 26, 2019 with the match "Dynamo" - "Arsenal" (3:3).
