Transfer "Ho Chi Minh City - Mui Ne" is not an easy task, but it only seems at first glance. I found it on the website backdoorpath.ru good instructions. Since the railway stations are located rather inconveniently, I’ll tell you about the best way - by bus. So, step number one: get from Tan Son Nhat Airport, located in Ho Chi Minh City (old name Saigon) to the bus starting point in Mui Ne. There are no direct buses from Saigon Airport to Mui Ne. Since buses in Mui Ne depart from Pham Ngu Lao Street, which is located in District 1 and is a tourist area with a bunch of hotels, we will get there from the airport. You can get to Pham Ngu Lao Street by taxi or bus. Hooray, it’s quite a short drive and you can easily do it in half an hour if you’re lucky with the traffic on the roads. Bus from Ho Chi Minh City Airport to the city: Bus No. 152 runs from the airport exit, which will take you to the city's central bus station, located next to Pham Ngu Lao Street - this is the final stop. The bus runs between Saigon and the airport from 6am to 6pm and runs every 20 minutes. Cost of the trip: 5,000 dong ($0.23) and the same for luggage heavier than 10 kg. Taxi from Ho Chi Minh City Airport to the city: Taxi drivers at the airport exit charge incredible prices: they start at 600,000 dong ($28) and do not negotiate below 400,000 ($19). Therefore, it is easier to immediately order a taxi from one of the offices at the airport: in several windows (even at currency exchange offices) you can see an advertisement about the possibility of ordering a taxi. Here a taxi will cost 210,000 ($10). Presumably, 10,000 should go towards paying the driver for parking at the airport, but it is better to clearly specify this point when ordering a taxi, otherwise the driver will insist that you pay for the parking yourself. A taxi from the city to the airport will cost a little less: you can also order it at any tourist office in Pham Ngu Lao for 160,000 ($7.5). Again, if you don’t discuss it in advance, when entering the airport the driver will ask you for an additional 10,000-20,000 dong for the same parking, for which he will also take money from the next client departing from the airport to Ho Chi Minh City.
I got out of the airport and walked about 50 meters. Then I got into a taxi, after looking at the price tags per kilometer. They are glued to the rear side windows of the car. A taxi to the hotel in the center cost me 160,000 dong according to the meter. But the taxi driver still charged 20,000 for parking. I didn't argue. Finding a hotel in the center is not difficult on booking.com. Just consider the noise level in the city center;)

Buses from many companies run from the tourist area of Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne; tickets can be bought at any tourist office. There are two types of buses: regular seated buses and sleeper-buses. The latter are undoubtedly more convenient, because the path is not short. Most buses leave in the morning at 8.00, then around 1 pm and in the evening at 20.00. The evening bus is very inconvenient as it arrives late at night in Mui Ne, so I would recommend staying overnight in Saigon if you don't have time for the morning and afternoon buses. The bus takes from five to seven hours. Depends on the traffic situation and the specific bus and its stops. Ticket prices range from 120,000 dong ($5.6) to 170,000 ($8). I traveled on a Futa Buslines sleeper bus and I can’t say anything bad about it (except maybe the bus is coming maximum 7 hours). The bus departed from Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne and back on time, which is valuable, because many other bus companies on the same route are not particularly punctual. In addition, it seems that this is the only company that runs sleeper buses from Mui Ne to Ho Chi Minh City in the morning - all other morning flights are just regular seated buses. Another plus of this company is that it has many more buses than everyone else. If most of travel companies starts as standard at 8.00, 13.00 and 20.00 from Ho Chi Minh City and at 8.00 and 13.00 from Mui Ne, then Futa Buslines has buses at other times, which can be convenient if you are returning from Mui Ne directly to the airport for the plane. It’s better to buy tickets in advance, and try to avoid the last row of seats in sleeper buses: the sunbeds below can get warm from the insides of the bus, and on top of each bump you will be thrown up to the ceiling.
My bus traveled for almost 8 hours due to road repairs. This is so plan your trip a little in advance. In addition, you should not take a lot of water and food with you. The bus stops frequently. But it’s not always when you need it, really :)

Bus Ho Chi Minh City Mui Ne
On public transport You will have to make transfers to get to Mui Ne. One option is a tourist bus. At the exit from the airport building there is a bus stop; route No. 152 (a ticket costs 5 thousand VND) will take passengers to the tourist center of Ho Chi Minh City - Pham Ngu Lao Street in just 20 minutes.
There are plenty here travel agencies, where you can buy a ticket for a tourist bus to Mui Ne. There are two types of buses: regular (open bus) and sleeping bus. A ticket for the first one will cost $5-8, the trip on a slip bus is much more comfortable, since you can lie down and sleep, the ticket price for it is about $10.
You can take these buses directly to your hotel; you just need to show the driver the hotel address. The journey will take 5-7 hours. Most buses leave in the morning (around 8 am), there are several afternoon services (at 1 pm and 3 pm) and evening ones (the last one at 8 pm).
If you don’t want to wait a long time for the desired tourist flight, you can use the services commuter buses which run every half hour. They depart from the Ho Chi Minh City bus station and go to the Phan Thiet bus station (a city near Mui Ne). Tickets cost $7-8, the journey takes 5 hours. Train ride
