In addition, no one is left indifferent by the various attractions of Arkhipo-Osipovka, among which new objects are constantly appearing.

  • The easiest way to get to Arkhipo-Osipovka is by car along the M4 – Don highway. You need to go to Krasnodar before turning to Dzhubga, from which it is another 120 kilometers to your destination. If you are leaving Moscow, then count on one night on the way, because... You will have to spend about 20 hours behind the wheel.
  • Those who prefer to travel by plane should take into account that there are no airports in the Arkhipo-Osipovka area. Therefore, buy tickets to Gelendzhik or Krasnodar. And from there you will have to take a taxi or go by bus.
  • For those going to the sea by train, it is preferable to take a ticket to the Goryachiy Klyuch station, and from there get to Arkhipo-Osipovka by bus or taxi, approximately 80 kilometers.

Where to stay

  • Considering that Arkhipo-Osipovka is a favorite vacation spot for motorists, several campsites have been set up on the shore for their convenience. So, a tent taken from home will perfectly solve the problem of housing.
  • If life in nature is not attractive, you can always use the services of numerous local hotels and mini-hotels.
  • Local resorts and boarding houses are ready to offer their guests not only comfortable rooms, but also a range of health treatments.
  • And of course, the ubiquitous private owners rent out rooms, apartments and entire houses to visitors during the holiday season at reasonable prices.

There is one peculiarity in Arkhipo-Osipovka - not all houses in the private sector have uninterrupted water supply. Please clarify this issue with the owners in advance.

Central Beach

Gelendzhik is one of the most famous resorts located on the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus. It is obvious that vacationers spend a lot of their time on the beach - swimming and sunbathing. In the center of the city, a new sandy beach was created, the length of which is 500 meters and the width is 30 meters.

It is landscaped - there are showers, changing rooms and shade canopies. For an additional fee, you will be provided with various beach equipment - sun loungers, umbrellas and mattresses. The beach offers banana rides, jet skis and parasailing. Entrance to the central beach of the city of Gelendzhik is free, the only drawback is that starting from the middle of the day, during the peak of the holiday season, the water here becomes cloudy, which is associated with a large number of people.

Numerous small-pebble beaches of boarding houses and sanatoriums extend from the central sandy beach in different directions from the Tolstoy and Tonky capes. Mikhailovskoe fortification

Mikhailovskoe fortification is a Russian fortress dating back to 1837. Along the edges of the structure, behind a high wooden palisade, there were once observation towers equipped with cannons. In the summer of 2005, a historical, local history and ethnographic museum complex called “Mikhailovskoye Fortification” was created here. It includes the unique ramparts of the Mikhailovsky fortification, preserved in its original form, which were part of the Black Sea coastline of Russian troops during the Caucasian War. The area of the exhibition hall of the “Mikhailovsky Fortification” is 130 square meters. Here, on a diorama model, the defense of the structure on the fateful night from March 21 to 22, 1840 is reproduced.

Also in the museum you can see archaeological and ethnographic finds found on the territory of the village of Arkhipo-Osipovka. The exhibition here reflects the history of the peoples who inhabited this region from ancient times until the mid-20th century, and also includes minerals from Russia and the fauna of the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus. The exhibition “Kuban in the Middle Ages” is very popular among tourists, which includes jewelry, ceramics, weapons and household items dating back to the 18th century. The museum can accommodate 35-45 people at the same time.

Teshebskie (Bigiusskie, Gebiusskie) waterfalls are located on the border of the Gelendzhik and Tuapse regions, 6 kilometers east of the village of Arkhipo-Osipovka.

Everyone calls these waterfalls differently, but it is more correct to call them Gebius, after the name of Mount Gebius, located nearby. The name of the mountain means “inverted jug.” The name "Teshebskie" comes from the Teshebs River, on which they are located.

The walk to the waterfalls and back is 5 kilometers.

There are seven waterfalls and several rapids on the river. The main three waterfalls are "Lace" - 17 meters, "Grotto" - 6 meters, "Devil's Mouth" - 20 meters. In order to make a hike to the waterfalls, no additional preparation is needed: it can be done even with children.

The cost of a child ticket is 150 - 350 rubles, depending on the time, and an adult ticket is 650 rubles. On International Children's Day, all rides will be absolutely free for children.

Arkhipo-Osipovka embankment

The resort village of Arkhipo-Osipovka is located in the South-West of the Krasnodar Territory, right on the Black Sea coast. This place is very popular among tourists due to its low prices and convenient geographical location. Arkhipo-Osipovka is a great place for a family holiday; it is very quiet and peaceful here. The center of social and cultural life is the embankment, which stretches between two capes.

The length of the embankment is approximately 500 meters, and its width is about 40. Along the shore there are white balusters with wide railings that separate the beach from the pedestrian part. The entire embankment is lined with paving slabs, and in its center there is a long flower bed in which various patterns of annual flowers are planted annually.

In the evening, a peaceful, romantic atmosphere reigns on the embankment, the sounds of music can be heard from small cozy cafes, and everyone who wants to listen to the sound of the sea surf and look at the “moon path” is located on the coast. But when day comes, not a trace remains of the calm of the night; souvenir shops and stalls open here, and hundreds of vacationers go to the sea to get their share of sunbathing and water treatments.

Hello, dear readers!

☻Summer has come and, as it happens, I really wanted to go to the sea. You can’t work all the time! We work to live, not live to work. I didn’t have time for a long vacation, we rushed for 3 days, but it was worth it.

๑۩۩๑ Travel, accommodation: We got into the car in the evening, with the intention of going to the Black Sea coast to swim and have fun, and off we went. We didn’t plan where we would stop and where we were going. We arrived in Arkhipo-Osipovka at 3 o’clock in the morning. Having driven to the main central street, we saw a woman with a sign offering housing, I really wanted to sleep.

☻The price of housing suited us and we went to look. The room was not very good, it needed renovation and there was not a single window, but there were beds))) We really wanted to sleep, and we didn’t want to look for anything else at that time. We decided to stop. The room had: beds, a wardrobe with hangers, a TV, an indoor flower, a toilet and a shower with hot water, which was very pleasing.

☻The kitchen was shared in the courtyard. The house itself in which we rented a room is two-story and huge. Each room in this house has its own entrance, the room was locked with a key, and nothing was lost during the rest. Having woken up, the hostess told us how to get to the sea, where to shop and what interesting things to see.

๑۩۩๑ Sea: We walked slowly to the sea for 20 minutes, looking at the surroundings. The road went through a bridge, under which a fast river flowed, in which small fish could be seen. The embankment is large and clean, along the shore there are many cafes, restaurants, souvenir stalls, an amusement park and all kinds of entertainment.

The weather was sunny and windy. The water is very clean, beautiful azure-transparent color and cool. The beach is pebble, the pebbles are small. There are paid sunbeds and toilets on the beach. I wasn’t at sea for very long, and I had the pleasure of swimming and diving to my heart’s content. I enjoyed it immensely.

๑۩۩๑ Excursion Stalatite Grotto: Walking along the alley, you can see agents offering various excursions. We bought a jeep ride to the Stalatite Grotto. The weather was sunny, the mood was magical, the jeeps were driving at breakneck speed, hair was blowing in the wind, it was very cool. The air is clean, such a thrill.

Driving past small rivers, we crossed them (they are not deep), splashes flew from all sides, we were all splashed, but delighted with the extreme. The excursion included: viewing the stalatite grotto and the surrounding area, tasting wine and chacha. Duration 4 hours. We were warned that it was better to take towels with us, since when entering the grotto and in it, water would drip and we would get wet.

The water was indeed dripping and quite heavily. I really liked the staloctites, I saw them for the first time, quite interesting. The nature around is mesmerizing with its beauty. Having walked around, the guide took us to a cafe, which was located in this wilderness for wine and chacha tasting.

We had a great tasting and bought some to take with us. At the cafe we ordered shish kebab and vegetables on the grill. Eating in the fresh air is a pleasure; it was appetizing and tasty, especially since the appetite worked up in earnest. I really enjoyed the excursion. We got great impressions and a good mood.

๑۩۩๑ Village : The village itself is very clean, huge, beautiful houses of different styles are built. Lots of different vegetation, trees, shrubs, flowers. For the first time in my life I ate figs to my heart's content, I liked them. In the evening we went to the embankment, life is in full swing there at night. Discos, karaoke, attractions. We went on several rides. Their prices at night are crazy; it’s better to ride during the day. We danced, had a good time and had fun, had a blast.

๑۩۩๑ Boat trip: We bought a boat trip. It includes: access to the open sea where it is possible to meet dolphins, swimming in the sea. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any dolphins up close; they swam very far away. We really enjoyed the walk, we dived from the yacht and swam to our hearts' content.

We went to Terrenkur - this is a route along the mountain, climbing many kilometers above sea level.

๑۩۩๑ About the benefits of health path

When overcoming special routes, endurance improves, the functioning of the musculoskeletal system improves, and vascular and muscle tone is restored. Properly dosed physical activity has a beneficial effect on material metabolism, the respiratory system, strengthens the body and prevents all kinds of diseases.

It was very interesting to take a walk and breathe fresh air. We saw many unusual and unfamiliar trees, huge fly agaric mushrooms, etc.

This trip was memorable and vividly etched in my memory, I really enjoyed it and have many positive memories.

I wish everyone a pleasant holiday, with best wishes, Alina. Thank you for your attention to review.
